As players might know, Roblox BedWars developers share updates every Friday at 3:00 PM PST or 6:00 PM EST. Here's a big update released on May 13, 2022 that introduces new game-changing enchants to the game!
There are three new enchants in total, which are: Life Steal, Critical Strike, and Clingy enchants. Many of the previous enchants like Execute have been reworked. Players can try the new kit bundles for free. Hopefully, more bundles are coming up soon!
Bedwars is a team player versus player game in which one will battle their opponents on Sky Islands, protecting their bed while attempting to destroy the opponents' beds to prevent them from respawning. The simple formula to win is: beat all of the opponents to win the game!

Enchanting in Roblox BedWars
Each base has a broken Enchant Table that may be fixed for 8 Diamonds. It is a block that can be manipulated to provide various enchantments. Before it can be utilized, it needs fixing.
Players can purchase a simple enchantment for 80 Iron or a sophisticated enchantment for four Emeralds that enhances their abilities or assaults. Fire, Static, Plunder, Execute, Critical Strike, Life Steal, and Clingy are now the seven different types of enchantments available.
New Life Steal enchant
Now dealing damage will be rewarded by healing players for three health using four ticks. If there is overhealing, it converts up to 25 shield health. It is a nice move when players are delivering maximum damage.
New Critical Strike enchant
A critical hit (or crit) is a possibility that a successful attack will cause more harm than a standard blow in various role-playing games and video games. In this game, there a 25% chance of dealing a critical strike with twice the damage.
New Clingy enchant
When a player dies now, they can save four random item stacks from being lost in the inventory. This has added that much-needed extra edge to the game.
Reworked enchants in Roblox BedWars
Void
It has been renamed to “Execute” with new effects. The base damage has increased from 6 to 10.
Plunder
Plunder will now give priority to emeralds, diamonds and other higher-value items. With the new effects, the cooldown time has been reduced from 5 seconds to 4.
Sadly, the developers have taken down Rapid Regen, Shield Gen, and Anti Knockback enchant. Also, to make things interestingly challenging, they have now changed the Enchant cycle, which is broken when the player dies.
Kits in Roblox BedWars
In BedWars, kits are unique avatar packs. Excluding Eldertree and Crocowolf, whose kit skin cannot be switched off due to physical avatar alterations, all kits provide a unique skill as well as the choice to wear the skin.
Each week, three kits are given away for free as the rest must be purchased with Robux or unlocked using the Battle Pass. Smoke, Builder and Davey are the free Kits of the Week.
Kit Cyber Change
The price of the special item drone has been increased from 15 Iron to 50 Iron.
Kit Yuzi Change
Developers have added a maximum of four dash charges for Daos which is an exclusive variation of the Sword. It takes 10 seconds to start recharging dashes. Also, every Dash will now give 20 percent more damage.
Item Changes in Roblox BedWars
Minicopter
Minicopters are little planes that can really fly across the map and transport two people: the pilot and a rider. Arrows, fireballs, guided missiles, and snowballs can all harm the minicopter.
As per the update, the health rate has increased from 200 to 300. The Falling height needed to explode is reduced from 60 to 40. Explosion damage multiplier is now 3, from 2.5. They have added a health bar for the machine.
Tesla Coil Trap
Tesla coil traps are a type of obstacle that can be utilized to inflict damage on nearby enemies. Any adjacent enemy individual will be attacked by the Tesla coil trap. It used to deal four damage and is unaffected by armor.
As per the update, the zap radius is now 14. Damage per tick is no more four but has increased to six. The price to purchase this has gone from 40 iron to 50 iron.
Other updates in Roblox BedWars
The Battle Duck that used to patrol an area and attack nearby enemies has been removed along with the Battle Duck Spawn Egg. The Tornado Launcher, which was used to shoot out a small tornado, was also removed.
The final item removed is the Boba Blaster and the Boba Pearls that were used to shoot the blaster. Images improved for the various maps for each of the four gamemodes.
Season 5 is expected to be released very soon.

There are 12 kinds of enchantments: Fire, Static, Plunder, Execute, Critical Strike, Life Steal, Clingy, Anti Knockback, Rapid Heal, Shield Gen, Updraft, and Volley. Currently, only 8 of them are obtainable in normal matches from the Enchant Table- namely, Fire, Static, Plunder, Execute, Critical Strike, Life Steal, Clingy, and Volley.
Fire, Static, Shield Gen and Critical Strike have 3 tiers (1, 2, and 3). Rapid Heal has 2 tiers (1 and 2), and Execute, Life Steal, Plunder, Clingy, and Anti Knockback only have 1 (3 for Execute and Volley, and 2 for Plunder, Life Steal, Clingy, and Anti Knockback). Enchantments are not permanent and will be lost upon death. Enchanting while already having an active enchant overrides the old one. You will always get an enchantment different from what you had.

Trivia
- A bug may occur in which resources gained from the plunder enchant are duplicated, rather than stolen.
- Currently, there is a bug for console players in which they are not able to use the enchantment table.
- Previously, a bug allowed players to instantly get the Rageblade as Barbarian after killing one enemy under the Execute effect.
- This has been patched.
- A similar bug can be seen with Trinity, in which killing an enemy under the Execute effect will have either the player or all teammates nearby heal to full HP, depending on which form Trinity is using.
- Both this bug and Trinity's instant regen come from instantly killing people under 20% health.
- Void Regent can also fully heal using the Void Axe, however, this is seen to be harder than Trinity due to the low damage.
- Due to the mechanic of the Static enchantment, a player using Trinity could see 2 healing orbs instead of 1.
- Players were able duplicate enchant tables. This has since been patched.
- Any form of damage will activate the enchant (Swords, Arrows, Kit abilities, etc.)
- The idea of enchants was most likely inspired by Minecraft.
- The Juggernaut Crate uses the same model as the Execute enchant icon.
- Enchants can also be spawned by saying /enchant (enchantment)_(tier) in chat.
- Players can also use multiple enchantments by using the /enchant command.
- In custom matches and with the Conqueror, using the enchants fire and static together will result in a never-ending damage loop.
- This is because the damage from the Fire Enchant activates the Static Enchant and it activates the Fire enchant again which then causes the loop.
- This has been patched.
- Grim Reaper was able to heal at extreme rates if they consume a Soul while having the Rapid Heal Enchant.
- Anti Knockback 2 was formerly Anti Knockback.
- The Critical Strike enchant features a different icon at tier 3.
- The Anti Knockback enchant can still be obtained by using defense banners.
- There was a bug where the Critical Strike enchant would stay even after re-rolling enchants. Though this was fixed after discovery.
- Removed enchants can still be applied with commands in a custom match.
- Enchant tables cannot be found in some Duels maps.
- Interestingly, players can get different levels of the same enchant by using the /enchant command, for example players can use /enchant fire_3 and enchant fire_2.
- The arrows fired by the Volley enchant will not deal any damage if the player fires an explosive projectile, likely due to the fact that the damage originates from the explosion itself.
- The enchant table is the only block that emits light.

Not to be confused with 30v30.The NPC to enter the 16v16 gamemode.
16v16 was a limited time gamemode in BedWars.
It consisted of 32 players that were split into two teams of 16: Blue and Red. This gamemode was intended to be available from June 14, 2021 to June 21, 2021, but was extended to August 9, 2021, where it was replaced by Bed Royale, though it was still playable through Custom Matches back then. As of August 20, 2021, it is no longer playable through any way.
Objective
The objective of 16v16 was to completely eliminate the opposing team. 16v16 had two teams of 16; Red and Blue. A team's bed acted as their respawn point. When broken, the team's players would not respawn upon death and would be eliminated. 21 minutes into a game, all beds would be automatically destroyed. This was called "Sudden Death", and its purpose was to keep games short.
Joining
Players could join the queue for 16v16 by interacting with the Scientist NPC, players could be in a party of up to four players, whose members would be put on the leaders team along with other random players.
Maps
16v16 had 4 known maps:
Trivia
- This gamemode is the gamemode with the most chance of winning (along with 30v30 and Duels) since there is a 50% chance of winning.
- Sometimes, there can be as few as 7 people on a team due to logouts and internet errors before the bed breaks.
- Strangely, Bed Royale (100 players on their own), shares the same stats as 16v16 if you check your board.
- This gamemode, along with Juggernaut TDM and Penguin Survival V1 are the only removed gamemodes to not be playable through custom matches.
- This gamemode doesn't give XP as it didn't exist at the time this gamemode was released.

The NPC to enter the 30v30 gamemode. (As of August 12, 2022)
30v30 is a limited time gamemode in BedWars. The gamemode is similar to 16v16, but with much larger teams. The generators are much faster, with diamond generators generating every 20 seconds and emerald generators generating every 30 seconds. It replaced the Bed Royale gamemode. When winning a round, the player is awarded 100 XP in the Battle Pass just like in Duels.
30v30 features the same maps as 16v16, only with more players per team and faster generators.
Objective
The objective of 30v30 is to completely eliminate a the opposing team, 30v30 has two teams of 30; Red and Blue. A team's bed acts as their respawn point, if it is broken that team's players will not respawn upon death and will be eliminated. After 21 minutes into a game all beds will be automatically destroyed; this is called "Sudden Death", and its purpose is to prevent games from taking too long.
Joining
Players can join the queue for 30v30 by interacting with the Elf NPC, players can be in a party of up to four players, whose members will be put on the leader's team along with other random players.
Maps
Trivia
- This, 30v30 and Duels have the highest chance of winning since there are only two teams.
- Players cannot pick all of their teammates, since the max party size is (currently) only 16.
- However, checking your leaderboard stats, it still shows the stats for 30v30.
- This gamemode has been introduced twice. The first time it got removed, it was replaced with Lucky Block. When Season 2 was added, it replaced Lucky Block.
- 30v30 has been removed and re-added once before.
- This mode is 16v16, but with more players.
- It is called Game Mega instead of Game
- This mode was originally going to be 20v20 but when the developers scratched this idea, they forgot the change the game mode's id as you can see here:
