Thank you, this a pretty obvious answer, but it allows me to just put up with it knowing other iOS users are doing the same. Wish their wasn't such a blue tint.

For everyone those who don't know, you can also set up Smart Invert (and other options) to pop up or just simply turn on with three taps of the home button (power button for iPhone X and up)
I have "Reduce White Point" as another option in this menu for me and I use it often, it makes a huge difference in battery life, doesn't affect the visual appearance for the most part, and if I ever need the full brightness I can always turn it back off easily. Sometimes I forget it's even on. I love it.

The Amazon app does not support dark mode. Forcing dark mode is an experimental feature to invert certain colours in apps that don't support dark mode. It's basically guessing what the colours should be and there's no guarantee it will work correctly, that's why Android hides it away under developer settings.
You could try use an app called DarQ that allows you to force dark mode on specific apps only.
