Better Call Saul season 6 on Netflix Reddit

I thought I was able to watch the final season but it’s not available. Google tells me it should have been available to watch since April but it’s gone. Anyone else?

American Netflix if that matters

I went ahead and bought the season 6. Absolutely phenomenal. Sad it's over

I'll have to watch breaking bad again, but I feel Call Saul was better

level 2

Yea I finally found the whole 6th season on Xbox Live for $25 which is cheaper than Amazon’s $3 per episode up to 10 and then get a free trial of AMC+ for the last three.

I definitely want to watch Breaking Bad again after this. I feel like BB was better but had more filler that I’m not looking forward to skipping through lol

Netflix never has the current season they're a year or two behind. The final season was never on Netflix.

level 2

It's not on the US version of Netflix but it is in the EU and UK. Watched the finale the day after it aired as a download.

level 2

Final season was dropping every week according to schedule in Netflix Norway

level 1

It started airing in April and it just ended. It won't be on Netflix for at least a year.

level 1

Get yourself a VPN for the UK and you can watch it on there

level 2

Wouldn’t I need a UK Netflix account too?

level 1

Haha europe has it. Screw you america.

level 2

Which part so I can "be" in that location

level 1

I recorded season 6 but didn’t find time to watch. When I just looked thru my recordings, the 6 or 7 episodes were no longer there? Any ideas what happened?

level 1

I’ve heard you can do a cheap trial of amc or one other platform has it, for a week and binge it. That’s my plan when I’m done binging the Netflix seasons.

level 2

The AMC+ thing only gets you the last couple episodes of season 6 (at least through Amazon prime). They make you buy episodes 1-10 for $3 a piece. I got the whole season on Xbox live for $25

level 1

Gotta Pay for AMC+ to get it.

level 1

Im in one of the only two countries without BB/BCS

level 1

I binged BCS 6 with a Turkish Account on Netflix last week.

Or, just download it. PB has it.

Pretty sure you can find season 6 online for free somewhere. Maybe 123movies or fmovies. But I recorded it since it was on TV, but ya netflix doesn’t have season 6 yet. It’ll be a while.

Better Call Saul is not only the end of a chapter, but it seemingly closes the book on the Breaking Bad universe, as the finale definitively wrapped up every character arc and even ones that weren't tied up in its predecessor. The series finale couldn't have been more satisfying, as it was funny, emotional, and, as is usual for a Breaking Bad-adjacent series, totally full of surprises.

The long-running series had always been leading up to this moment, and very few fans could have guessed how it unfolded. Between a few unlikely cameos, some character choices, and uncharacteristically funny dialogue despite the grueling end times, every scene in the finale left fans in a state of shock.

10/10 Mike's Introspection

Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut in Better Call Saul

Mike has become something of a meme for how stoic he is and how little his expression changes. The character could either be excited or outraged and viewers wouldn't be able to tell the difference. However, LikeAFoxStudios_ points out that the character was clearly very vulnerable in the finale's cold open.

The Redditor notes, "I love that Mike, the tough b****** that he was, had a genuine moment of introspection with Jimmy. He was honest, vulnerable, and kind. It kinda showed with Mike how Jimmy wasn’t honest enough with himself to be vulnerable." As Saul asked Mike what year he'd time travel back to, Mike brought up the date his son was murdered, and it might be the only time the fixer/hitman has opened up to another character in the universe in such a way before.

9/10 Kim's Last Con

jimmy and kim share a cigarette in BCS finale

After Howard Hamlin's death, which was indirectly caused by Kim and Saul, Kim ran away to start a new life and seemingly vowed to never conduct any kind of scheme again. Even though Kim's schemes are sometimes better than Saul's, it seems like she stuck to her guns, leading a humdrum life in Florida. But, surprisingly, she pulls off one more con at the very end of the episode.

No-Air5890 asks, "Anybody else dying over the fact that Kim scammed her way into the prison using her old bar card to visit Jimmy?" While it's in no way as bad as her other schemes and is completely victimless, it's still classic Kim, but it leaves viewers drowning in their tears, as she does it to see Jimmy, possibly for the last time.

8/10 Jim's Jail Time

Better_Call_Saul-Jimmy-Saul

One of the most powerful monologues in the whole Breaking Bad universe arrives in the finale of Better Call Saul, and it comes from a character nobody expected to appear. Marie Schrader rips Saul to shreds and blames him for Hank's death, but as a response, Saul claims to be a victim of Walter White too, and he expertly brings down his jail time from 180 years to just seven. And it's in a prison that sounds more like a vacation home than anything.

While that's impressive, it's hardly the surprising part. When it came to guaranteeing the deal, Saul ended up confessing to everything, knowing that he was waving goodbye to his deal. Carterish explains, "At the heart of it, Better Call Saul is a love story after all. Jimmy going from 7 years to 86 years and that last conversation with Kim... ah what a brilliant experience this show was."

7/10 Bill Oakley's Prominent Part

Peter Diseth as Bill in Better Call Saul

One of the characters that fans least expected to see in the finale was Saul's rival lawyer, Bill Oakley, especially not the huge part that he had. Mrfritsche81 was most excited to see the insecure and self-doubting lawyer, commenting, "Can we talk about Bill Oakley for a moment? One of the most underappreciated bit characters of the series. I adored every moment he was on screen tonight."

The character brought funny moments to such distressing scenes without it being distracting, such as when he hilariously begs the judge to withdraw from the case. Oakley is lowkey the hero of the series, as he's one of the few smaller characters to have appeared in every season of Better Call Saul in some capacity.

6/10 Jeff Left In Jail

Jeff looks worried in Better Call Saul

Surprisingly, for a universe that always ties up loose ends and features spin-off shows and movies that do exactly that, there was one surprising and glaring omission in the finale. Idonodev points out that one of the regular characters, Jeff, didn't have a single scene and that it isn't clear what happened to him after he was arrested in "Waterworks." The Redditor notes, "This was a great finale but I love how Jeff just kind of got left in that jail, he's the new 'Huell in the safehouse' where it's left ambiguous where he ended up. Which I actually kind of like."

Better Call Saul has paralleled its predecessor in a lot of ways when it comes to character arcs, and Jeff might be one of the most hilarious parallels. Just as how Huell was left in the safe house, which became a running gag amongst the fanbase, Jeff was left in prison, and nothing was said of it. It's likely that he confessed to the crimes he committed and was given jail time. And as Saul's now in jail too, Jeff and Saul's paths might cross once again.

5/10 Marie's Return

Betsy Brandt as Marie in Better Call Saul

There are tons of Breaking Bad characters who should have shown up in the finale, whether it was Huell's partner in crime, Kuby, or even Badger and Skinny Pete. But one that showed up was the least expected, but it ended up being the best cameo in the series and fans didn't know they needed it. Marie showed up in Nebraska when Saul was caught, and StinkyJane was most excited by it.

The Redditor mentions, "I really enjoyed seeing Marie again! Seeing her as the grimly determined Widow Schrader was a little heartbreaking." The user also hilariously mentions that, even though it was black and white, Marie was probably wearing purple, and it can't be disproven...

4/10 Walt's One-Liners

Bryan Cranston as Walter White and Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad

The Breaking Bad universe has always been full of snappy dialogue, especially when it comes to Walter White. Whether it's "I'm the one who knocks" or "Say my name," Heisenberg has the most memorable quotes. And, as TheSmokedSalmon420 points out, he's at it again.

The Redditor explains, "God, I forgot how funny Walter was" when referring to the character telling Saul, "You're the last lawyer I would have gone to." That was in response to Saul telling him that they could have sued Grey Matter. The finale, despite being grim, depressing, and totally tragic was surprisingly full of great one-liners, as Marie tells Saul, "I heard they found you in the dumpster... that makes sense."

3/10 The Name Mayhew

Jimmy in the courtroom

Mchgndr makes an interesting observation, noting, "Definitely didn’t expect to hear the name 'Mayhew' twice!" It might seem like a random thing to be surprised by, but the Redditor actually has a great point, as Walter has a lot of pseudonyms, and Mayhew isn't the most well-known. However, after all, that was the name Walter gave when he first introduced himself to the criminal lawyer.

Badger's real name is Brandon Mayhew, and Walter pretended to be Mayhew's uncle when he first met Saul. And given that the name was mentioned twice, that's all the more reason that Badger should have shown up, as his name was used in Saul's testimony. While the finale was very close to perfect, that was one of the few missed opportunities.

2/10 Returning To Color

Rhea Seehorn and Bob Odenkirk in Better Call Saul finale

There was always speculation in the fan community over whether or not the post-Breaking Bad world would go back to color after being black and white from the very beginning. But just as the series has been known to do, it completely subverts expectations in the most perfect way possible. Instead of the whole shot turning back into color, it's just the light of the cigarette that Kim and Saul share in prison.

This user comments, "I actually loved that touch. another cool moment for color would’ve been him confessing that he did it all for himself in the courtroom, kind of returning to the man he used to be and becoming jimmy again" It's hard to do something like that without it coming off completely cheesy, and the final idea was so tastefully done.

1/10 Chuck's Return

Michael McKean as Chuck in Better Call Saul

Whether it's Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad, or El Camino, the universe has always taken advantage of flashbacks to bring back characters who bit the dust. And that was no different with the finale, as one sequence depicts the first time Jimmy delivered food and newspapers to Chuck during his illness.

NMehna999 was most surprised by the scene, explaining, "Having Walt back again was cool, but I legit let out a fanboy cheer at Chuck’s appearance, just feels so right to have him back for the end." What made Chuck's return so great and different from other guest appearances was that it was the only time when he visibly felt ashamed of himself. The character looked upset when Jimmy told him, "You'd do the same for me," which was completely untrue.
