Although the opportunity exists for cross contamination I watched one young man take ownership of my pizza (gluten free dough) and ensure every precaution was taken. New gloves, special pan, changed tongs, pizza cutter, etc. It was refreshing to see this level of concern. His actions alone give me reason to return albeit with a careful eye.

NOT celiac safe at all. I came here based on a previous review saying they were celiac safe and prevented cross contamination but that’s not true. I was highly skeptical when I walked in and saw the operation but asked them anyway. They said of course they can use clean gloves, a pan and new toppings so I was excited but they then wiped down the dough press they had just pressed regular crusts on with a towel and pressed the gf dough on it and put the dough on a pan with holes in it on top of a wheat flour covered wooden paddle. They changed their gloves and pulled out new ingredients but I decided I couldn’t risk eating this pizza and let my friend who was splitting it with me just have the pizza and didn’t eat any. They also cut it on a shared cutting board. They tried, but it’s not good enough for celiac. If just gf allergy or preference then go for it.

Advertises gluten free pizza, but it’s not gluten free. There is a big risk of cross contamination. I asked if they did the GF food on a different station, but I was told no, done all on the same line (and they touch the utensils on the bases). This place is not safe for coeliacs. I managed to get a salad as the lovely cashier got someone to get me a clean salad, but this place should not be advertising gluten free as it’s not (they do however have signs saying it’s not completely safe).

I absolutely love Blaze pizza! I've never gotten sick after eating at any Blaze location. They always pile on the toppings and the pizza is just too delicious!! I haven't been in awhile but I believe they have a GF crust as well as a Cauliflower crust! I usually opt for the GF crust. Very tasty! They're also good about changing gloves!

Horrible. First, they don’t have separate prep areas for gluten-free vs regular. Or separate ovens. Or oven space. Or cutting/boxing areas. If you’re celiac, you’re going to want to come nowhere near here. And with a management team that has zero clue as to even which pizzas are which once prepped, there’s no guarantee you’d even get a gluten free crust.

The pizza is delicious, lots of vegan options! The GF pizza is somewhat safe, it honestly depends on who’s working there and how careful they are. About 80% of the workers are very careful and I usually have a minimal reaction if they are handling the food.

Great experience at blaze! Went at 3pm on way back to hotel from a Disneyland for a mid day break. No one else in line, went to the counter and asked for 2 gluten free pizzas. Before I could tell the worker it was for celiac (allergy) he asked me and said they would all change gloves. He washed hands, put in fresh gloves, too out special mats to lay the crusts on, took the crusts from a completely separate area of the kitchen, used a separate tub of sauce (rather than the communal tub) and fresh toppings. Could not have been more careful handling the pizzas from start to finish. Do not hesitate to go here if you have celiac. I’d suggest you go during off times but I have no issues with this location

I went in and ordered a build your own gluten free pizza. They used different utensils for the sauce’s and made sure there wasn’t any cross contamination. It was delicious and there was no sickness afterwards. Celiac. I don’t know if they’d be so diligent if I placed an app order or called it in. They have several GF pizza dough options, but this is not a GF establishment. They flatten all their dough with a big machine and it’s the same machine for the wheat based dough and the GF dough and no one offered to even clean it off. There is obvious loose wheat flour in the food prep area. Staff offered to change gloves and the ladle for sauce, but I’m not sure how much that really helps if there is just flour around the general area. I risked it because I was starving and with my family and I didn’t get sick, but I’m not sure I would come back here again because it’s not safe for celiac. The GF pizzas also took about two and a half times as long to cook as the regular pizzas as well, so be prepared to wait. And mine ended up being overdone and the staff brushed that off as “just the way the GF crust cooks.” Really? The crust cooks h til it’s burnt and that’s the only way to serve it? I doubt that. Not a fan of this establishment. Probably will not return.

Have gluten free pizza. Staff take care when making (change gloves, use silicon pad to keep crust from touching surfaces that have gluten, use separate utensils). Great tasting pizza.
The staff at our location now know me and take special care when I come in. When we travel I find I may need to coach the person making my pizza but I can honestly say I have never had any problems with cross contamination at any location.

Cauliflower crust (gluten free) is so good! My mother, daughter, and I prefer it to the other gluten free crust they offer. You must tell them it is an allergy order. BE CAREFUL!! Usually I’m a Blaze lover. They have the best GF pizza I’ve ever had. After a long day my husband and I went to Blaze on Lamar for a late dinner. All but 2 workers seemed to know what was going on. While checking out the worker was very rude and didn’t say a word to me or my husband. He was the one to take my GF pizza out of the oven and when he took it out he cross contaminated it. My husband tried to bring this to his attention and asked him to remake it. The worker then took the cross contaminated pizza to the other works and they got in a group, talked and looked at us. Then a woman worker came over and very rudely asked “what’s the problem” and tried to explain that that’s how they cut the pizza. We left after she made a big deal about remaking a pizza because I couldn’t eat it. We went to a different Blaze who made my pizza perfectly. No cross contamination at all.

I am extre.ely gluten sensitive and have always been able to eat here. I love their keto crust with bacon, sausage, Roasted red pep, red onion, mushrooms, and Kalamata olives. Two thumbs up! :)

Celiac safe, they change gloves to prevent cross contamination, delicious food, and always great service. I eat here like every other month and never have any problems, can't recommend enough!

So greasy. Literally dripping with grease. I enjoy thin crust but it was literally soaking wet with grease. 😭
