If you see the message “Family Information Is Not Available” when you try to set up Family Sharing or add a family member to your existing Family Sharing group, it means that you don’t have the correct iCloud security settings. Family Sharing allows you to share access to your Apple Music, Apple TV+, iTunes, and Apple Store purchases. If you want to
disable Ask to Install or Ask to Buy from Family Sharing and the family option is unavailable, here is how to fix it.
To fix this problem:
- Open the Settings app and tap on your name at the top.
- Tap on “iCloud” and scroll down to the “Security” section.
- Tap on “Family Sharing” and make sure that the “Share My Location” setting is turned on.
When you visit the iCloud page on your iPhone, be sure to accept the new privacy terms and conditions.
Furthermore, if you still see the “Family Information Is Not Available” message, it means that you’re not the family organizer.
Check your settings, and ask your family members to check their settings. If you still can't find the app or other content, find out what to do.
