Where You'll Be Climbing
The 2022 Los Angeles Fight For Air Climb will be held at the civic treasure for generations of Angelenos, the LA Memorial Coliseum. Known as “The Greatest Stadium in the World”, the Coliseum legacy of events hosted in 90+ years reads like no other. This is the perfect setting for a day of fun, challenge and camaraderie.
How to Participate
- Stadium Climber: Challenge yourself by taking on approx. 1393 stadium steps, the closest thing to our historic climb location, the Aon building.
- Elite Climber: Tackle approx. 2500 stadium steps, a 5k challenge.
- Stadium Walker: This year we will be adding in a walking course for participants who prefer a flatter course.
- Climb Your Way: Have a different route in mind? Participate from where you are and create your own challenge virtually.
So many ways to participate… Get started today!

Why We Need You in the Fight
In March of 2020, the American Lung Association launched a $25 million initiative to end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory virus pandemics. At the same time, we're continuing our advocacy work to support clean air and redoubling our long-term commitments to lifesaving research.
Over the last 12 years, the Climbers have raised more than $71 million to support the mission of the American Lung Association.
