Join In Our Local TraditionBegin your evening with dinner at Pierre’s or the Beach Cafe and then settle into an Adirondack chair, a tropical colored tiki table and stools, or bring a blanket to relax on. There is live music throughout the evening and we have different performers each month. Show After 9:00 pm, a live band plays in the center of the beach. In addition, any number of other performers may join the Party throughout the evening. A $35.00 cover charge applies to all visitors. Pierre’s Restaurant and Lounge are VIP access with a cover charge of $50.00. The cover charge allows access into the party to enjoy the festivities. All food & beverage are additional. Jack is first name and Mandanka is last name. Every full moon Islamorada comes alive thanks to the Morada Bay’s spectacular Full Moon Party. The Morada Bay Beach Cafe, located at Mile Marker 81.6 bayside, transforms their huge beach into a magical event that is the place to be in the Florida Keys. Thousands of locals and tourist alike gather early at the Cafe to enjoy the many festivities that go on well into the night. It begins a little before sunset where the
entertainment is relaxing and mild during the dinner hours and through the beautiful sunset. As the sun sets and the full moon begins to cast its glow over the water the party begins to pick up, and at this time you know you are in for a special evening. At dusk bonfires and tiki torches line the beach and a plethora of beach performers to include fire jugglers, acrobats, Brazilian Dancers, stilt walkers and more entertain the growing audience. A Bahamian Junkanoo Parade then struts their moves to a tropical island beat and has everyone dancing in the sand, and is climaxed by a spectacular fireworks display that rivals only those seen on the fourth of July. At 9:00PM Salsa and Reggae bands take over the main stage and this is when the heavy hitters get into their swing. DJ’s are spinning dance party music and keeping the dance floors loaded inside the Café and at Pierre’s Green Flash Lounge.
