The Iron Bull is a beast of a Qunari who can join your group as a savage fighter, becoming one of your Companions. advertisement Qunari are known across Thedas as the brutal horned giants who descended from the north to nearly conquer the continent. These ruthless followers of a
harsh philosophy enforce their will through the Ben-Hassrath: their spies and secret police. One brilliant agent did it all, hunting spies, rebels, and deserters until the day he finally broke. To preserve a valuable asset, his superiors sent him to Orlais to observe and report… and The Iron Bull was born. Today, Bull’s Chargers are famous mercenaries, fiercely loyal to the huge Qunari warrior who leads them into battles and taverns with equal enthusiasm. The Iron Bull
still sends the Ben-Hassrath reports, but years of living outside Qunari rules have him wondering which identity is really him. Whoever he is, he’s more than happy to join the Inquisition and get paid to kill demons. After finishing with the clerics in Val Royeaux, return to Haven and speak with Krem. Head to the Storm Coast. From the first camp, you
can see a fight down on a beach. Head down there, then attack the hostiles in the group. When they're dead, you'll have a conversation with Iron Bull, and you can choose to hire him and his company to the inquisition. Iron Bull himself will join your party as well. Whether or not you agree to his demands, the quest will resolve. advertisement The Iron
Bull may not seem that receptive to flirtation, but don't worry. After you complete his first personal quest, Demands of the Qun, he will show up later if you have flirted with him during previous conversations. If you confirm you romantic intentions with him, the Iron Bull will discuss the rules of your engagement, and later on, the ramifications. If you are still interested, the Iron Bull will tell you about a special Qunari Item that launches his final quest, Tough Love. Complete the quest
and give him the item, and you will be given the opportunity to go public with your feelings for him. Recruiting

Demands of the Qun
Demands of the Qun is triggered after speaking to Iron Bull in Skyhold. It's unknown exactly what condition this quest becomes available, but it's likely due to a combination of time (i.e., other quests completed) and positive disposition of Iron Bull.
Head to the Storm Coast, and be sure Iron Bull is in the party. A cut scene will occur regardless of which camp you travel to, and you'll be brought to the relative location automatically. You'll be briefed on the situation, and Bull will break off to brief his Chargers. Speak to Bull when you're ready to begin the assault.
After the Chargers clear out, head down the dirt path they were blocking off. The road seems like it goes away from the target, but it'll curve back right after a while. Bull and Gatt will start chatting as you make the turn, so you'll know you're going the right way.
You'll have a couple minor skirmishes before you get to the target, which is a small camp guarded by several Venatori. Wipe them out, then interact with the bonfire to light a signal for the fleet.
A cut scene occurs, and you will need to make a choice when the Chargers start to have difficulty. If you advise Bull to call a retreat, he'll be gracious and the Chargers will live, but the inquisition will lose out on many resources they could have had from the alliance. If you advise Bull to let the Chargers fight, they won't survive, and Bull will be severely unhappy, but the inquisition will prosper. Note that if you are planning on romancing Iron Bull, it's greatly advised that you allow the Chargers to live. However, allowing them to fall will not jeoparidze a relationship; it just may take a little longer.
