I curbed my car being reckless and now I need to replace one of the rims. It dented so now the air freely leaks out. The tire itself is still great; the rim is garbage. How much would it cost to swap the tire and balance it? Or, how long would that take a shop to do? I know there's a tire shop down the road that's reputable and charges $70/hr labor. I also read online that it costs about $15 to balance a single tire.
Thank you r/cars in advance.

Yeah man, you couldn't even pay me to put those on my ride. But I would try and post it online for $120 a set, if they ask for a discount just give it for $100

I drive by Curtner everyday, my coworker really wants to buy your Miata
Just so you know I’ve gone the plasti dip and powder coat routes and you’ll still need to keep the following in mind:
For me, the plastidip gloss did very little. It made it slightly shinier but nothing like a gloss finish, still looks mostly matte after a year or so, but that was the part I was the least confident in so perhaps I did the gloss wrong. I tried to do 2 heavy coats from memory.
When you get new tires it will tear up the sides. Mine are looking pretty worn down at this point.
It takes quite a long time to do all 4 wheels properly. Certainly an all day event. I believe I did 5 coats of black following guides online. You need to make enough coats so that it can be removed easily.
If I were you and had the money at the time I would get them powercoated gloss black. Not sure if that price is just for paint or powdercoat.
Here’s a couple pics from when the plastidip was pretty new to how it is now (like 3 years later, they’re due to be redone):
First pic is when it was pretty fresh, second is recentish.

If you aren’t sure about changing the color the dip is nice, but otherwise I’m planning to redo mine with powder coat. The results will look like a wheel that is gloss black stock. Here’s my previous Camaro which had black powdercoat, but the angle doesn’t show it off very well:

Overseas material prices have gone up a little bit - 5-15% depending on the country they're made in and the factory's volume / ability to source material. That alone only explains a small portion of the price hike. It's shipping costs which have exploded - a 40 foot container from China / Taiwan was about $3000-4000 a year ago. It's now $18000-20000 today. Prices are then raised even more in order for the supply chain to maintain its' margins. As for their actual cost on a set of "rotary forged" aka flow form cast wheels, it's likely around $350-400 FOB and with shipping amortized, maybe $430-500 landed at their warehouse. These are then likely sold to dealers at 2.5-3x cost (or 20-35% off MSRP) and dealers sell at MAP or MSRP. I'm not a Rohana dealer so I don't know their discount levels and these numbers are all educated guesses.
As for their 3 piece wheels, I can tell you their production costs have probably gone up about 20%. Aluminum forgings are up 25%. Aluminum rim halves are up 10-25%. Hardware is up 10%. Labor costs of finishing (polishing, plating, powdercoating, painting) have gone up due to the labor shortage. Packaging materials are up as well for a combination of previously mentioned reasons.
To answer your question about prices decreasing for the holidays - that is entirely up to the retailer and not necessarily Rohana themselves.
