When Animal Crossing: New Horizons received the big 2.0 update, it also received a huge influx of furniture items to decorate your island with. Some such items are castle themed and will allow you to construct elaborate castles on your island.
There are three types of Castle Items that you can get. They are the Castle Wall, Castle Gate, and Castle Tower. All three of these items can be fitted next to each other smoothly without any awkward spacing between them. Each item comes in one of six different colours and can be customized by Cyrus on Harv’s island.
So, how can you get your hands on these Castle items so you can make your own castles? Well, to put it simply, they are available through Nook Shopping in the Daily Selection category. There are also two downsides, they appear in the daily Selection at random so you will have to check every day and hope they are available that day and they are costly, very costly.
The Castle Walls are the cheapest option at 56,000 bells a piece. They are also 1×2 blocks in size so you will need quite a number of them if you want to build a formidable size castle. The Castle Gate is 1×3 blocks and has an open archway to walk through. This costs 160,000 bells so try to only buy what you will need. Of course, the final Castle item is the most expensive of them all. The Castle Tower costs a whopping 250,000 bells each, yeowch! These are 2×2 blocks each and will make a nice finish to any castle corner or even either side of a gate for that matter.
Another drawback is that you can only order up to five items a day on Nook Shopping. The good news though, is that once you have bought at least one of each of the Castle items and have had it in your inventory, you can buy them again any time you wish from the Nook Shopping app. Building a castle and kingdom takes time and a whole lot of bells so if you want to live like a king, you best hope you have the riches of one.
We hope this little guide helps you. We decided to write one up for ourselves after struggling to find all the necessary information online. We hope that with this knowledge, you’ll be able to create your own castles in Animal Crossing: New Horizons soon enough.
Until next time, Keep On Gaming!
