It's always been my favorite Pokemon. But I don't know anyone that plays Pokemon so I can't trade. I remember in yellow there was a girl who traded you machoke so you got machamp. Any similar npcs in ultra sun?

Do you have 2 copies of the gen 7 games? If so you can trade with yourself through the GTS. If not, then chain haunter, it's possible for them to call gengar.

I put up a Crabrawler up on GTS for a Haunter. IGN is Toby.

Put a Haunter on GTS and ask for another Haunter. Pretty good way to get those trade evos quickly.

That was me balloon. I traded my haunter for the crabrawler. I've put it back up for trade and requested a Gengar. I hope I did it right, it's my first time using the GTS.

Oh I didn't think it was you. Next time, post after receiving the trade so the other person knows you recieved the trade and someone else didn't take it.

And yes, you did everything correct. I sent Gengar back if your OT is Ness.

I just started my Dark/Ghost type only run in Pokémon Moon! I’m very excited to play, but I sadly face the same issue I have always faced in every other Pokémon game. I have no way to obtain my favorite Pokémon, Gengar! Do I just spend some time Wonder Trading and trying to get lucky? Or do I just tough it out with Haunter?
