1.0 out of 5 starsCauses hair loss and scalp irritation!!
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 28, 2022
At first I loved this shampoo and conditioner set, it seemed to be working. My hair was growing and felt softer but my scalp seemed dry and itchy I thought I had a dry scalp so I ordered another set thinking nothing of the scalp irritation. Not even half way through the second set, my scalp was itchier than ever, my hair as dry as straw and I noticed clumps of hair falling out in the shower and every time I brushed my hair! I started losing my hair like crazy! My boyfriend asked if everything was okay because he found a “ Tarantula sized hair ball” and was noticing my “clumps of hair all over the house.” I have lost about half of the thickness my hair used to be using this shampoo and conditioner set! I stopped using biotera and switched to an argan oil shampoo and conditioner set right away and thankfully have noticed way less fall out and scalp irritation. DO NOT BUY this product it contains DMDM hydantoin which is a toxic chemical that causes hair loss!

Love the whole Biotera line! Exactly like Biolage. Moisturizes hair, leaves a beautiful shine, and smells fantastic. I will always purchase these products.

It is hard for me to review just a shampoo, because I always use a conditioner or treatment after. So really, my results are based on using this with the matching conditioner. I used the ultra...

This product claims to "hydrate dry, damaged hair" but it had the opposite effect on mine. In fact, I now suspect that the brittle, frizzy hair I had over the winter was a result of this shampoo...
