The Magic School Bus: Rides Again is a brand new update to the beloved animated show featuring our favorite class of adventurers. Old favorites like Arnold and Ralphie join new students like Jyoti, a tech-savvy wiz-kid. Starring Kate McKinnon as Ms. Fiona Frizzle, Ms. Valerie Frizzle’s kid sister!

With the help of her upgraded Magic School Bus, Ms. Frizzle takes her class on wild field trips exploring a wide variety of science topics including, invasive species, weather hazards, schools of fish, the rock cycle, magnets, allergies, camouflage, states of matter, satellites, glaciers, brain and nervous system, and deep sea exploration!

Who cares if summer vacation is just around the corner? Netflix has renewed The Magic School Bus Rides Again TV show for a second season. Season two of the animated children’s TV series premieres on Netflix, Friday, April 13, 2018.

Based on the book series by Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen, The Magic School Bus Rides Again is a sequel to the 1990s PBS Kids TV show, The Magic School Bus, featuring Lily Tomlin as Valerie Felicity Frizzle. The Magic School Bus Rides again stars Kate McKinnon as her sister, Miss Fiona Felicity Frizzle, who takes her class on science adventures. The Netflix voice cast also includes Tomlin, Mikaela Blake, Gabby Clarke, Matthew Mintz, Lynsey Pham, and Franciska Friede. Guest stars include Will Arnett and Sandra Oh.

Season 2 is the second season of The Magic School Bus Rides Again, and the sixth in total. The first 13 episodes released on Netflix on April 13, 2018, followed by a hiatus from this date until 2020, when "Kids in Space" aired on August 7, followed by October 20th's "The Frizz Connection". After "In the Zone" on December 26, the show went on its second break until November 9, 2021, when 9 Story released the 2020 episodes, plus a brand new one, "Goldstealer", onto a DVD in Canada.[1]

In the United States, the first 13 episodes of this season were released to DVD on January 11, 2022.[2]
