While the movie is definitely good, I read past the movie in the manga, this does not say all have eng subtitles. Otherwise this is amazing, besides not begging able to fully enjoy it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Quality and Content

The Blurays are proper 1080p HD, with now compression artifacts or something like that, exactly how it should be.(Currently I only checked samples) The Bluray contains also a bit of Bonus content like clean opening and endings, making of stuff and an Interview with the composer(mostly available in japanese with subtitles)I imported the limited Edition to Germany(the german Version seemed far less interesting) and originally it should have taken somewhere from 11.December to 19.February but in the End it came 26.November, so awesome and fast delivery!The Box itself comes as a little treasure Chest, with actual little Buttons. It contains a nice artbook, a Nanachi decoration thingy, a Keychain with Lyzas white whistle(only a flat metal piece, not a real whistle) and of course the Map of the Abyss.I'm super happy with the limited edition and I think the only 2 things that could made the edition even better would be a real white whistle and a few stickers so that I can put them everywhere.

I knew nothing of this series except for the reviews I have read on here about it, so I kind of went into it blind and took a gamble and purchased the limited edition boxed set for a whopping $199.
The set itself only contains 13 episodes that at the end leaves a lot of questions unanswered and wanting more of this series. The animation is not the greatest but the story and soundtrack are nice along with the a good English dub makes this series enjoyable. The Limited Edition boxed set also includes a few extras like a book, lanyard with a medallion white whistle, a phone holder and what I think is the best extra a cloth map of the abyss. The box itself is great as it is held closed by straps with button end fasteners attached to the case and the straps itself along with some nice art work when you open the box on the inside of the fold open covers.
For the series by itself I would give it 5 stars.. For the limited edition boxed set and what it contains I would give it 5 stars.. For the crazy $199 price tag at a value standpoint of what you get for it, I would give it 2 stars.
But I am happy with it

The epic steampunk fantasy to end them all, everything in MADE IN ABYSS is played for very high stakes: the physical violence and emotional cruelty the Abyss and its inhabitants visit upon our heroes is close to unbearable at times, and yet we keep watching.
Though Riko, Reg, and Nanachi (the most adorable thruple in anime) have different but equally compelling reasons for reaching the bottom of the Abyss, it's their awakening love for each other that sustains them through the cycle of tragedy and renewal (twilight and dawn?) that shapes their one-way journey. The three movies in this set take us from the founding of Orth to the bottom of the fifth layer, where our trio come face-to-face with the demonic Bondrewd. Lives, of course, are changed.
The Abyss itself is a breathtaking feat of worldbuilding: six alien environments layered one atop another, each one a richly imagined, potential setting for a series of its own. MIA season 2 can't be released soon enough.

The Made in Abyss movie collection is phenomenal, Dawn of The Deep Soul was stunning and didn't pull back it's punches when it came to the fate of certain characters. I'd recommend Made in Abyss to anyone. I'm looking forward to season 2.

One of my favorite animes so of course I had to have the blu ray. The box set is great, such detail put even into the box itself. I love the nanachi stand too its super cute. 10/10 would buy again.

Everything that came with this is orettt neet. For 100$ to me it was worth it since I love the series. A keychain and phone holder also comes with it as well although I don’t use the phone holder but the keychain comes with a Lyza’s whistle, it’s made out of metal and not some cheap plastic so that’s always nice.

A little smaller than I imagined it would be, but still nice. The only thing I am unsure of is whether it comes with the soundtrack? and I don't want to open it because it is a Christmas gift.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great continuation of the first season
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 5, 2021
For those who want more after the first season, rejoice for this movie gives more of where it left. As we see Riko, Reg and Nanachi continue to explore the depths of the Abyss as they venture into the fifth layer.
The soundtrack is just as good and fits the mood like a glove.
Well that's all I can say without spoiling the plot too much. Definitely get this bluray if you liked the series!
There are extras such as:
* interviews with the Japanese voice cast of Reg, Nanachi, Riko;
* 4 shorts about Mark's daily life;
* 4 trailers
5.0 out of 5 stars The movie we have been waiting for

I loved the series and was waiting for ages for the movie to come out, and boy, what a movie. It picks up from the series ending and expands and various characters (not giving the plot away). Only downside is it leaves the ending opening for another film - which i believe is in the works. On a tech note, i prefer the dub version of my anime and voice talent here are top notch. All in all, I give the film a solid A
3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the heck series

I have been waiting to watch this for a while, the dvd is nice but the actual movie wasn’t as good as the series. It does have English dub and sub which is useful but lot of money for not much

I'm an long time fan of the Made in Abyss manga and absolutely adored the Anime adaptation.
This movie continues the descent in the abyss where the Anime left us .
Spoiler warning, this Movie is really dark..darker as the Anime.
And I wouldn't recommend it as a fun Anime to watch with your kids.
I love the voice cast accept for Bondrewd a deeper voice would have fitted him far better.
The whole Bondrewd arc is summarised
quite nicely and follows the manga most of the time.
And yes ,it answers the question
Is Bondrewd the best dad of all time?
(Yes,I had to)
The soundtrack is on a whole other level.
It's definitely worth to read into the lore of some of this song's and appreciate them even more.
This movie perfectly prepares us for the dark way that lies before us as we descending deeper as most of the cave raiders ever dreamt to come.
To find our haku and prepare for the next great season.
