How to enhance and manage Familiars in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds
Level Up
We recommend increasing the level of Familiars with high stars as they have higher CP (Combat Power) than those with lower stars. You can increase the level of a Familiar using your gold. The higher the level of your familiar, the more expensive the gold must be spent. You can level up the Familiar only up to level 30, be it 1★- 6★ Familiars.
Evolve
When your Familiar has reached level 30, it’s time to evolve your familiar. When you evolve Familiars, it will increase their basic stats, but you need an evolution material that matches the familiar element you want to evolve. Then when you evolve a familiar, the level will be reset back from level 1 but with a new grade.
Enhance
Besides that, you can also enhance familiars which are useful for increasing basic stats such as ATK, DEF, and HP. You need a jelly name to enhance, such as Stretchy Jelly for ATK, Tough Jelly for DEF, and Fluffy Jelly for HP.
Enhance Absorb
The Enhance Absorb is useful for increasing levels by transferring familiars to other familiars, but this value can only reach 100 for each stat. If the value reaches the maximum, it will be sent to your inventory
Awaken
When you have duplicates of similar Familiars, you can sue them as awakening materials to increase the skills and stats of your familiars. However, this is not always successful as there is a level of success.
Hatch Familiar
In addition to training Familiars, you can also incubate eggs through Familiar Hatch. This can be done with as many as 3 eggs during incubation. But you need Familiar eggs and Dream Shardes to hatch them. You can choose 3 out of 5 wish tags to increase the chances of a familiar appearing, if none of them match, then you can refresh wishes using coins.
Release Familiar
When there are Familiars that you don’t use while playing, you can release them. Then you will get some pretty interesting items, the higher your familiar grade, the better the items you will get.

Best Familiars Composition in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds
The following is the best composition for familiars based on the existing elements and as many as 3 slots and judging by the skills and contributions in the game.
Fire Element
In the Fire element, we recommend a familiar named Molten Lion, as it can decrease damage from enemy attacks, and is very strong in defense.
Water Element
In the Water element, we recommend the familiar Splisher. Splisher comes with the ability to perform healing and dispelling debuffs.
Earth Element
In the Earth element, we recommend the familiar Oroboros. Oroboros can give poison to the enemy which causes damage from time to time. Oroboros is an attacking type, very suitable for your character who needs more damage dealers.
Final Thoughts
In addition to class characters, these familiars can also fight with you which is very helpful, especially in terms of increasing your Combat Power (CP). Don’t forget to always increase the familiarity, and set the best composition so that the familiar you use can be effective, such as against the fire element then what you need is the water element.
