Sleep mode and Startup Xbox One

I have used instant on mode since the Xbox One came out and still use it since upgrading to the S. I do a hard reset like once every two weeks (to clear the cache) and never have any problems with it.

Well my issues is that immediately when I turned it on after having it on instant on mode all day it decided to turn itself off. I thought I may have done it by mistake at first but after it happening again today. Im wondering if its due to a bug or something?

You probably have the system set to automatically turn off, although i'm not sure if that setting is compatible with instant on. Check under settings > power & startup > power mode and startup > Turn off after 1 or 6 hours on inactivity. Set that to off, but I doubt that this is the problem because you said it immediately turns off after turning it on.

Could be a glitch with instant on, could be an issue with your system itself.

It’s not that cause I have that on and it doesn’t do this when I come out of stand by. It only effects your console when it’s fully on.

Well basically here is what happened. It was on standby mode with instant on enabled. I went to turn it on to play for a bit and immediately when I turned it on it turned itself off. So that made me worry a little.
