Hello
There!
I'm on my NG+ Playthrough, and I thought his time I would play the Side Missions. Just wondering when the best time is to play them? Should I wait to after the main story or play them when they get unlocked?
level 1
I'd say do 'em as they're unlocked. They're sometimes related to stuff that's going on in the story (the ESU students one, for example), so it makes sense to tackle them then. They also give you a nice break from the story mode!
level 1
I think the side missions are set up in a way that you can take them on anytime you want. There's only a few with a real connection to main story elements. So in terms of them effecting the immersion of the story they can be completed anytime.

If you wanna take full advantage of that and see what neat abilities each suit and mods bring, side missions are a must. Otherwise, combat might get repetitive for you. If you get back to work you're fired, man. |
Nok_Su_Kow 4 years ago#6 I read/heard that the game encourages you to focus on the story for a bit so that it allows more varied side activities to become available in the world. So, best not to worry about completing things early on. |

And a major plus to that is you can apply unique suit abilities to any suit. For example, if there's one Spidey suit you like, but there's an ability you like on a different suit, you can take that ability and apply it to your favored suit. They definitely made this game tailored to personal preference of the player, which feels nice. If you get back to work you're fired, man. |
