DON’T BUY THIS! Storm of the Century is NOT included in this. This only includes the bones movies. This posting is entirely inaccurate and wrong. They should state what this actually is. What a waste of time and money!

I really enjoyed The Storm of Century , but the bonus movies were not Stephen King movies and were so bad they were funny instead of scary .

Great ... I love everything about Maine although I think some of this was filmed in Canada. First time I saw was upon its first release in 1999. Colm Fiore makes a great "The Devil"... All characters do a great job... Some with their Maine accents sounding about right. Tim Daly is suppurb as he appears to be the most educated of the group and love the part when he scrambles the children's block letters to spell out "Legion". He seems to have a strong religious upbringing ... He definitely was the strongest character mans played the roll well.

The “page” that holds the second dvd is missing, you can see where it was taken out in the picture. False website description, save your self the trouble and don’t buy this. It took forever to receive only to be disappointed.

3.0 out of 5 stars Kick up a storm and buy this.....
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 7, 2018
Stephen King brings us 'Storm of the Century' Another TV event over four nights on its release... So its safe to say its about four hours long. It leads on from the likes of The Stand, Salem's Lot, The Langoliers and many more... Its a solid TV movie with decent story structure and well fleshed out characters. The production value is good for the time (1999) and the tale is gripping from begging to end.. Well I enjoyed it anyway.
4.0 out of 5 stars much like the more recent Under the Dome
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 5, 2017
One of the few adaptations of King's work that feels very faithful to the original style of the novels. As in Frank Darabont's The Mist, here we have earnest, well-meaning townsfolk battening down the hatches, throwing themselves on each other's mercy, and getting in each other's way as secrets are revealed and a sinister force uses the titular storm as cover to come to town and wreak havoc. Plenty of downhome Americana is in evidence and the strong (if sometimes dodgy) accents give a genuine sense of place to the Maine island, rather than it being just another suburb of New York or Chicago. The multiperspective approach of King's novels is also retained, with plenty of sub-plots, and a typically upstanding police chief who recalls Martin Brody from Jaws in his attempts to hold the line with the local busy-bodies. The mini-series length suits King's work, allowing the characters room to breathe. Effects are used sparingly but well, and the production benefits from a chilling turn from its villain Adrian Linoge. Overall the piece is a meditation on the positives and negatives of small community culture, much like the more recent Under the Dome.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping Horror
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 15, 2009
'Storm of the Century' is a highly gripping horror mini-series from Stephen King. I won't go through the plot line - that's been well covered by earlier reviewers - suffice to say that it's one of the very best horror stories I've ever watched on TV. Off hand, the only one I can think off that racks up the suspense and tension more than this is 'The Shining'. Colin Feore plays the mysterious, menacing stranger brilliantly - he genuinely keeps your eyes glued to the screen throughout. It's far better than Stephen King's overlong 'It' and has a far more gripping, tantilising ending than 'Salem's Lot'. Truly chilling. Highly recommended.
4.0 out of 5 stars went down a storm

This is one of the better adaptations of a Stephen king book well worth a tenner of anyone's money although I did not pay that much.A very good story and the acting is also good not as good as green mile or shawshank but better than a lot of them.
