Hi, If you have a house near a sea, would you say "I live at the beach." or "I live on the beach."? Thanks.

I think the best thing to say would be "I live by the beach." In my opinion - and others might disagree - if you say "I live on/at the beach" it sounds too much like you literally live on the sand. You can also say "My house is on the water" if you live right up by the beach - and funnily enough, that does not imply you literally live on top of the water. I grew up in an
oceanfront community, and now that I think about it "on the water" is the most typical phrase I remember hearing.

What do you think of saying "I live close to the beach"?
If someone lives ten minutes from the beach, can he say, "I live by the beach"?

Personally, I think by the beach is a lot closer than ten minutes away. For that case, I would say live near the beach.

Hi there Do they make sense?
How about:
1) I live by the (sea).
2) I live (next to) the beach / sea
Is it something wrong with them logically / semantically?

I'd make the following distinction between them.
for no reason
atall...
Ilike to make myself a big pitcher of margaritas and take a nap out on

Well,
Icould give you the"everything's hunky-dory."I live at the beach, drive a nice car, and have a python in my pants" answer.
enmis pantalones.
I
mean, like, I'm constantly at the beach, even though I live in
theValley with my family, here and there.
At some moment in our lives, many of us confidently said: I am going to
