D&G Light Blue Italian Zest Pour Homme EDT opens with a moderate projection of citrus, musky, woody, and spicy notes. The opening is fresh, sporty, light, average, zesty, and pleasant. The citrus notes combine themselves into one that favors the grapefruit and bergamot, bitter and sour. Not as prominent as the citrus, the pepper and rosemary spice up the fragrance just a bit; the musk is listed as a base note but it is noticeable as soon as the fragrance is applied, it is a light white musk, not powdery and not animalic, just a note that enhances the intensity of other notes. As the fragrance commences to dry-down, the citrus notes lose some of the initial intensity, simultaneously, the woods and the incense become noticeable but they are not prominent. The fragrance has a soft floral touch but faint. The only noticeable but subtle opening to dry-down changes in this fragrance is the partial loss of the initial citrus sharpness, and in general the loss of intensity, the fragrance takes one step down to low projection. Once D&G Light Blue Italian Zest Pour Homme EDT has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a low projection, citrus (grapefruit, bergamot), spicy (pepper), woody, and musky fragrance with soft floral and incense accords. The fragrance feels slightly bitter, casual, delicate, diluted, faint, fresh, low-quality, modern, musky, natural, refreshing, short-lived, sour, sporty, unisex, weak, white, woody, and pleasant.
