What is the prize money for Australian Ninja Warrior 2022?

It's the final week of Australian Ninja Warrior and our fierce competitors are gearing up for an intense battle on the toughest course yet.

If you thought the Semi-Finals were difficult then you're in for a surprise. They've ramped up the difficulty for the Grand Finals, adding brand new obstacles to the tough course.

How will the Grand Finals work?

The Grand Finals have been split into three stages.

In Stage 1, Ninja's will raced side-by-side based on their Semi-Final placings.

In order to progress to Stage 2, they had to beat their opponent to the buzzer on the Warped Wall and complete all obstacles on the course in five minutes and 10 seconds.

It's a sudden death knockout for Ninjas who don't make it to the Warped Wall buzzer first.

"This is the most intense and brutal Grand Final we've ever seen," host Jim Courier explained.

Stage Two:

All the Ninjas who completed Grand Final Stage 1 within the time limit can attempt Stage 2, with the clock counting down from five minutes and 30 seconds. 

They must complete the Stage 2 course in the time limit to then progress to Stage 3.  If no one completes Stage 2, the Ninja who goes the furthest fastest will be declared the winner and take home $100,000.

Stage 3:

All Ninjas who complete Stage 2 within the time limit may attempt Stage 3 and be in the running to win up to $200,000.

With Stage 3, there is no time limit to complete the course.  They must complete all obstacles to progress to Mt Midoriyama.

The competitor who goes furthest fastest on the Grand Final Stage 3 course will be declared the Season 6 winner and take home $100,000.

However, conquering Mt Midoriyama in the fastest time will earn the winner an additional $100,000, for total prize money of $200,000 and the official title of Australia's Ninja Warrior.
