An iconic HBO series, Sex and the City came out in the late 90s and quickly grew into a global phenomenon. The show centres around four friends as they rely on each other to navigate the complicated dating scene in New York City. Add in glam outfits, social satire and saucy hook-ups and you've got yourself an enduring hit.
Deftly balancing laughs with drama and a healthy dose of romance, Sex and the City remains an unapologetically honest portrayal of female friendship. As we look back on its legacy, we can't help but wonder: will viewers still be able to enjoy it today? The answer is a resounding yes.
