Oshawott is the Water-type of the three starter Pokemon for the Hisui region and is one of the three Pokemon you can choose besides the Fire-type Cyndaquil and the Grass-type Rowlet. Like the other two starters, its final evolution has a Hisuian forme. Professor Laventon is the NPC who will give you your starter Pokemon at the beginning of the game. If you don't choose Oshawott at the start of the game, you can find one in Space-Time Distortions but it will be more difficult due to it being infrequent to encounter. There is one more way- a much easier way to get Oshawott if you hadn't chosen it from the beginning. Completing the main story and returning to Professor Laventon will reward you both Oshawott and the other starter you had not chosen.
