Great cast, but the outcome felt riggedVerified purchase
I don't think there's ever been a more talented and likeable group of contestants, but I could see from the beginning and throughout that RuPaul was panting for Symone to win. That soda commercial/beast couture episode was the clincher. Symone's commercial was one of the best, but that outfit was just a pair of jeans cut-offs, a cut off wife beater undershirt, and a costume shop fox outfit. Definitely one of the two bottom outfits (where was the couture?) and the judges were just creaming their jeans (cut-offs). No. Rigged.

Still a Great Show BUT...Verified purchase
I do love this show. This season's queens are amazing. That being said, I wasn't too happy about the opening "twist." These queens were filming during a pandemic with heightened stress and pretty strict protocols. Do they really need to be subjected to additional stress that ended up being meaningless in the long run? I am also not a fan of creating divisions and forced rivalry. I love just seeing them perform and create. I also hate the very forced personal trauma narratives while they get ready. Just let them kiki. I don't need these overblown tragedy mirror stories that now feel forced and obligatory. I would also like to see better quality of judges than Ross and Carson. Can you imagine Michael Kors for the unconventional materials fashion challenge? That's a guaranteed Emmy winner. Also bring back people like Kathy Najimi, who are experts at comedy to mentor them rather than Ross. Still a great show. It just keeps getting more and more produced and as a result feels less genuine and enjoyable.
