Corona has released a series of new ads to promote its beer and urge consumers to live their best life.
One of the spots features Devin Booker, Vince Carter, Christian Laettner, and Sue Bird sharing their opinions on the perfect shade of blue. “I gotta say, the ocean’s the most perfect shade of blue, the most royal of all the blues, you know what I mean?” Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker, who’s wearing a blue hoodie, says in the opening of the 30-second commercial. Carter, who is a former professional basketball player and current basketball analyst for ESPN, argues that, actually, the sky’s the perfect shade of blue, describing it as “classier, more distinct, not so… one and done”.
At this point, former Duke star intervenes, stating that they all know what the most elite shade of blue is. He doesn’t get to add anything because Sue Bird shows up, continuing his phrase. She points out that this shade is “actually perfect, undefeated, if you will”.
Carter takes the opportunity to joke that “Sue Bird has entered the chat”.
The commercial ends with Snoop Dogg saying the tagline “Life your best life in any color” while holding a bottle of Corona Extra in his hand.
CORONA beer commercials have recently been urging customers to live their lives to the fullest.
In their latest round of commercials, Devin Booker has teamed up with the legendary Snoop Dogg and three fellow players to chill by the beach.
