Memphis police and the US Marshals Service have shared the name of a suspect they allege could be connected to the killing of rapper Young Dolph, ABC News reports.
Police are urging the public to come forward with any information surrounding the whereabouts of Justin Johnson, otherwise known as rapper Straight Drop. They are offering a reward for information leading to his capture.

Police name suspect in Young Dolph case
On November 17th 2021, rapper Young Dolph was shot and killed in Memphis while visiting a cookie store.
The rapper, real name Adolph Robert Thornton Jr, was 36 years old. He is survived by two children.
In recent developments, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) has released a photograph of suspect Justin Johnson, 23, after they issued a warrant on charges of “first-degree murder”.
Law enforcement agencies are now offering a combined reward of up to $15,000 for information leading to Johnson’s capture.
Johnson has also been added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s ‘Most Wanted’ list.

Who is Straight Drop aka Justin Johnson?
Tennessee man Justin Johnson, otherwise known as upcoming rapper Straight Dropp, is a 5ft 8in male. MPD said Johnson had ties to “organised criminal gangs”, while the 23-year-old has the name ‘Jaiya’ tattooed on his right arm and should be considered “armed and dangerous”.
In terms of his rap career, Straight Drop – sometimes known as Straight Dropp – dropped one track and music video, ‘Stepped On’, with Big Homiie G in November 2021.
The Daily Mail reports the suspect also runs an Instagram account with his latest post uploaded last week. It features him posing next to a Rolls-Royce.
Police continue to search for murder suspect
At the time of writing, police have been unable to locate Justin Johnson.
The MPD has released surveillance photos from the day of the shooting that shows two suspects getting out of a white two-door Mercedes-Benz. The investigation remains ongoing.
The police shared: “#TNMostWanted: We need your help to find Justin Johnson, wanted by @MEM_PoliceDept and TBI for first-degree murder, criminal attempt-first-degree murder, and theft of property $10,000-$60,000.
