The Oklahoma State Cowboys have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the Arizona State Sun Devils at 7:30 p.m. ET Sept. 10 at Boone Pickens Stadium. Keep an eye on the score for this one: these two teams posted some lofty points totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet on Saturday.
Oklahoma State beat the Central Michigan Chippewas 58-44 last week.
Meanwhile, when you finish with 300 more yards than your opponent like ASU did last Thursday, a favorable outcome is almost sure to follow. They steamrolled past the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks 40-3 at home. With the Sun Devils ahead 24-3 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-0. We’ll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Oklahoma State and ASU clash.

The Arizona State Sun Devils (1-0) and the No. 12 Oklahoma State (1-0) meet up in Week 2 at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, OK on Saturday, September 10. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and the game will air on ESPN2.
In ASU’s first game with Emory Jones at quarterback, the offense looked efficient. They defeated Northern Arizona 40-3, and the run game looked great rushing for 267 yards. It will be interesting to see how they compare against a tough opponent in Oklahoma State.
The Cowboys played in a shootout Thursday night where they took down Central Michigan 58-44. Arizona State's offense is led by a pair of transfers in quarterback Emory Jones, who previously played at Florida, and running back Xazavian Valladay, a four-year standout at Wyoming. The duo combined for 316 total yards and four touchdowns in the Sun Devils' season opener last week.

Arizona State lost 16 scholarship transfers since early December, but added nine incoming transfers to its roster for the 2022 season. The Sun Devils are dealing with an injury bug with starting offensive lineman Joey Ramos (ankle), defensive back Ed Woods (lower body), offensive lineman Des Holmes (undisclosed), defensive lineman Gharin Stansbury (hamstring) are all either out or questionable to play against Oklahoma State, per Arizona State head coach Herm Edwards.
The Cowboys were dealing with some injury issues of their own, none of which seemed to affect its offense. Cowboy Back Blaine Green and wide receiver Jaden Bray — both starters — missed the opener. Their status for Saturday remains unknown.
