Red Giant is back with another episode of Shortcuts. In this tutorial, Premiere Gal gives you some great tips on how to quickly make your videos or vlogs look cinematic with Red Giant Magic Bullet’s Looks and Colorista, and also, Universe Finisher.

First, we'll start out with Vegas Pro Color Correction since you'll do a color correction before you will grade your footage. 

FCPX 10.4 came with some hot new features for color grading, including the Color Inspector and Color Wheels, making color grading easier and more intuitive.

This is not really a tutorial as much as a tip on how to speed up your workflow in After Effects or Premiere Pro when using Colorista.

In honor of Halloween and the recent release of season 2 of the popular Netflix Series “Stranger Things,” we thought you might like another look at these tutorials.  Learn how to recreate the 80’s-styled opening sequence in After Effects, and the “Upside Down” world Look - from Red Giant’s Seth Worley.

A LUT, or Look Up Table, is used in the film industry as an easy method of color grading. It’s an array of numbers to control the color of an image, by mapping one color space to another. Simple enough at the surface, but here’s more than you probably want to know about LUTs.

This is some beautiful work for the film Eclipse. They replace a flat sky with a gorgeous eclipse. This is very similar to the technique I use in the tutorial above.
