Recently, the best selling albums of 2021 were revealed, which was topped by Morgan Wallen with “Dangerous: The Double Album”, While the top rapper was Drake”. The list featured a surprising name Eminem, who was on number 49 spot with his “Curtain Call: The Hits” album, which was dropped way back in 2005.

The most popular rapper on the list, which included around 22 Hip-Hop albums. Pop Smoke, Doja Cat, Lil Baby, Polo G, J. Cole, Juice WRLD, Kanye West, Lil Durk, and others have albums out.

Now for even more surprise, the Detroit Rapper is listed as the most viewed rapper on youtube in 2021. In this past year, the “Lose Yourself” rapper earned around 4.40 billion, even without releasing a major studio album or music video.

The majority of viewers were from Em’s nation. Em’s figures included 1.19 billion views from US traffic. The UK is the second-most devoted Marshallian nation. His recordings were seen 227 million times by the British in 2021. The third-most devoted fan audience came from Brazil, adding 223 million views to Slim’s totals.

The second on the list is Doja Cat, who earned around 4.17 billion views in 2021. The 26-year-old dropped the “Planet Her” album in 2021, accompanied by a few music videos. She also earned the most Grammy nominations this year as a rapper.

Third on the list is the Toronto rap star Drake, who accumulated 3.06 billion views in this past year. He dropped his “Certified Lover Boy” project this year, which earned the highest first-week sales for a Hip-Hop album.

Em held this crown in 2019 and 2020, and nothing can stop him now. Em is on top despite the fact that she has only published one unique video this year. We previously reported on Vevo data for the United Kingdom, but worldwide figures are now available.

Eminem has had 4.40 billion fresh views in 2021. It is predictable, with daily growth of 10 to 15 million views.

Rap God was the most popular hip-hop musician on YouTube in 2021, and he’s still reigning supreme in 2022. Despite the fact that he hasn’t released a music video in a long time, he has amassed more views in the previous several months than any other rap artist on the planet.

Eminem’s Youtube account had 310 million views in May 2022. In April, the rapper’s video received 317 million views. On the 20th anniversary of his classic “The Eminem Show,” the Detroit rapper released an enhanced edition last week. He also previewed a new song with CeeLo Green called “The King & I,” which will be released on the Elvis Movie Soundtrack next month.

Vevo has shared its exclusive list of the 10 most-watched hip-hop videos of 2020, with Future and Drake‘s “Life Is Good” taking the No. 1 spot.

According to reports, the Director X-helmed visual garnered over a billion views globally and 530 million views in the United States since its release in January 2020. The track then appeared on Future’s eight studio album High Off Life, which dropped a few months later in May.

Elsewhere in the list, Lil Baby occupies five spots with “Woah,” “All In,” “Sum 2 Prove” and his two 42 Dugg-assisted cuts, “We Paid” and “Grace.” Drake makes two more appearances with “Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring Lil Durk and “Toosie Slide,” while Moneybagg Yo‘s “Me Vs. Me” and Lil Nas X and Nas‘ “Rodeo” make single appearances each.

“Future and Drake started the year off by dropping ‘Life Is Good,’ and almost a full year later, the video shows no signs of getting old,” Vevo’s VP of music & content Jordan Glickson said. “Far and away the most-watched video of the year, it stayed at the top of our charts for months. And while Drake showed up three times in our top 10, Lil Baby secured his spot as the most viewed artist in the U.S. by charting five videos in our top 10, and our most-watched Ctrl performance of 2020.”
