According to a Wrestling Observer Newsletter report from October (via WrestlingInc.com's Marc Middleton), the wedding was scheduled to take place in Las Vegas. Orton's wife, Kim Marie, and Twitter users JayGarcia118 and NicoleNBrieFan shared photos from the ceremony: Orton and Kessler became engaged in July, with Kessler sharing a photo of her engagement ring: Orton likely planned to take some personal time off for the wedding and honeymoon before suffering the injury, but that became a nonissue after WWE.com estimated he would be out for four to six months. Should his recovery time fall toward the higher end of the estimate, Orton would miss WrestleMania 32 in Arlington, Texas, which will take place April 3, 2016. Should that be the case, it will be the first WrestleMania without Orton since 2003.
Randy Orton is married to Kim Orton (nee Kim Kessler), a WWE fan who he met during a WWE show after spotting her in the crowd. Kim Orton said about becoming Randy Orton’s wife;
“I went to a show. I knew he was gonna be there and like in my mind three years before I met him I would always say to everybody like ‘Oh God, if we ever made out that’s it, he is gonna fall in love with me. That was like my thing. I say ‘I put it in in the universe and it gave me my thing.'”
She also went on to claim that “In my brain, way before I met Randy, he was my boyfriend.”, making it a happy coincidence that he noticed her in the crowd that night and asked her out for a date. The pair would later get engaged and be married with Orton being the stepfather to Kim Orton’s children.
