Which parts of the seating areas are covered?
Asked June 21, 2018
The PNC Bank Arts Center has a beautiful circular overhead roof that covers the majority of the reserved seating sections in the audience. For all sections in the 100-Level, 200-Level, 300-Level, and all Box seats, there will be protection for all seats. Additionally, the 400 sections have portions that are protected, but many rows will have seats that extend outside the roof line. The General Admission Lawn will be open air and unprotected.
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 102,
Section 103, Section 302 and Section 303 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance. Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able
to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage. More than half of all seats at PNC Bank Arts Center offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day.
