2022 NFL preseason schedule: Dates, times, live streams, and more

The full NFL preseason schedule was not announced with the regular-season release on May 12. However, in the following weeks, teams agreed on their schedule with each other and the various networks involved. Outside of the national broadcasts, local networks will pick up the rest of the games.

Week 2 of the preseason will include a national TV quadruple-header on Saturday to be broadcasted on NFL Network. The Broncos and Bills kick off the day at 1 p.m. ET. That game is followed by the Chiefs vs. Commanders at 4, Bucs vs. Titans at 7, and Cowboys vs. Chargers at 10 p.m. ET.

When does the 2022 NFL preseason wrap up?

Now in its second week, the NFL preseason will conclude next weekend. The final day of preseason games is Sunday, Aug. 28, which will leave 11 days until the 2022 NFL regular season starts on Sept. 8 in Los Angeles.

Of more immediate concern, all 32 NFL teams will need to cut down to 53 players on their active roster by Tuesday, Aug. 30. PFN’s NFL roster cuts tracker will have all of the cuts made between now and when the final 53-man rosters are revealed.

How to watch and live stream NFL preseason games

There are several ways to watch and live stream NFL preseason games. NFL Network will be covering 22 preseason games this year, including eight in Week 1. In addition, you can use streaming services such as Vidgo and fuboTV to live stream any of the local or national preseason games.

This season, five of the 49 preseason games will be broadcast on national networks, and one will be carried on Amazon Prime, which will also be available on Twitch. ESPN will show two of the games, while NBC, FOX, and CBS will each have just one.

NFL+, the NFL’s new mobile and tablet streaming service, will also carry local preseason games. Each matchup will also be available for replay on NFL Game Pass.
