How long does it take to bed in mtb brakes

I recently upgraded from BB5's to BB7's along with getting new rotors. I've ridden down my driveway (about 50 yards long and with a slight decent) and in my yard (about 35 feet long and steeper) about 15 times for each front and back brake. They have gotten better power over time, but how long should it take? It's a pain in the ass walking up a hill, riding down, walking up, and on, and on. Should I just suck it up and walk up a bigger hill or should I just keep doing small runs?

I use the sram method, it works well. I found that just riding trails didn't do the trick. I think it's more about transferring some pad material to the rotor than bedding in. After 20 times of slowing down quickly to a near stop on the street in front of my house they were strong and consistent.

Sram shouldn't make any videos about brakes until they actually start making brakes.

I prefer the Schulze Method, which doesn't leave you looking like an idiot like the sram method: Go down a long hill and drag your brakes. Done.
