Microscope Objective Lens, 10x, 0.25 NA, 16.5 mm Focal Length

Model: M-10X

Microscope Objective Lens, 10x, 0.25 NA, 16.5 mm Focal Length

The M-10X microscope objective has a 10x magnification, 0.25 numerical aperture, 16.5 mm focal length, and 7.5 mm clear aperture. It uses a standard RMS thread, 0.800-36. The objective is corrected for a rear conjugate at 160 mm. The lenses are antireflection coated with MgF2 for the visible spectrum. This M-10x objective is suitable for use with either the Model 900 or 910A spatial filters. M- series microscope objective power is based on a 160 mm tube length. MP = 160 mm/f

Ideal for spatial filtering

10x objective lens

Our microscope objectives are broadband AR coated and designed for diffraction limited performance across the entire visible spectrum. This allows collimated beams from lasers such as HeNe, Argon, or frequency double Nd:YAG to be focused to a small spot for spatial filtering. In spatial filtering, a laser source is focused to a diffraction limited airy disk spot pattern. A pinhole is placed at the focal plane sized such that only the central lobe of the airy disk may pass through. This removes undesired higher spatial frequencies to produce a clean uniform output beam.

High Power Laser Application

The M-20X is highlighted here in a laser engraving example. This example highlights the fact that these objectives can be used without issue. Unfortunately there is no specific data for actual laser damage. For any high power application, due to the sensitive nature of the environment, the level of cleanliness, and laser power homogeneity, the objectives cannot be guaranteed to perform without damage.

What is magnification 10x?

A hand-lens, for example, might be labeled with 10x, meaning the lens magnifies the object to look ten times larger than the actual size. Compound microscopes use two or more lenses to magnify the specimen. The standard school microscope combines two lenses, the ocular and one objective lens, to magnify the object.

What is the focal length of a 10x objective?

Microscope Objective Lens, 10x, 0.25 NA, 16.5 mm Focal Length.

Which lens lenses have a 10x magnification?

Low Power Lens (10x) The low power objective lens usually has 10x or 20x magnification.
