Lovely area to eat whatever you buy, looking out over a pond, a variety of apples, doughnuts, cider, pies, etc available; opportunities to walk through the orchard (though not pick apples yourself) A long time attraction because it's a fun place to go. I'm a huge fan of the Apple donuts and the fantastic cider. They also host the Taste of White Bear event which is always a good time. You can view the Apple sorting process, it was interesting. The bakery is very good. There is a cute enclosed patio area if you want pie and coffee. We always get pie and Apple donuts to go. Don't miss the bins of mini pumpkins and the widest variety of gourds that I have ever seen. We found some super fun and weird looking gourds. Fun destination, staff is very friendly and helpful. Then we stop by the cafe and get a cup of coffee and share a slice of pie alamode...but this year there was no slice of pie to eat! So disappointing - but had a few other goodies along with the cinnamon ice cream that is sooooo good. 3:00 on a Monday is prime time to have a full menu open, but we will try again next year. The beautiful setting of the orchard with room for kids to run and the fun wooden cutouts that have been there for 30 years is one of the reasons people continue to frequent this wonderful family run orchard.
