Q: How do you beat the guy with the electric stick in Arkham Knight?

If the enemy is hit front on, youll receive an electric shock, take damage and lose your combo. It is a good idea to vault over shock brutes, hit them with a stun immediately and then attack at will. Hitting them with a blast from the Remote Electrical Charge gadget will render the stun stick temporarily useless.

What is the best strategy for defeating the thugs with the shock sticks?

Every time i beat them i end up getting a final shock which is a huge pain in the ass especially if i'm on my last leg. How to i beat the shock stick thugs without getting shocked?

Answers

If you have the O + X attack upgrade (and the upgrade to where you can use it after a 5x combo) , use that on them...but be careful, other attacks can pick up the shock sticks.

If you have the batclaw you can use it on them to they will drop it

Jump over them attack from behind. I always wait for my combo to be at X3 to throw the batarang and knock them out.
But the best way is jump over and attack from behind.

WTF!? How do I block those electric batons!?!?!?

I have to fight wave after wave of normal guys and then I am only left with the ones with Batons, how the **** do I block these ******s? Pressing the B button doesn't work, pressing the Y button doesn't work, grappling them and then hitting them doesn't work. Seriously, what the *** is up with these ***s. I am using the 360 controller by the way.

You have to jump over them, then hit them in the back

You can also use the bat claw (if you have it), just don't let them stumble into you or you'll still get shocked.

The game even tells you to use the evade to get behind them when you first encounter the baton enemies....

i think he's been doing challenges and hasn't actually met the baton guys yet.

Your only two choices are using the evade to get behind them and attacking them or waiting for them to strike and hitting them while they are open

3 choices, The BatClaw takes care of them 9 times out of 10 as said above.

Use your cape stun (I think the default is middle-mouse button). Same for guys with knives. Then attack.

Sorry -- just noticed you're using the 360. Don't know how to get cape stun on that...

Cape stun doesn't work, you have to jump over them then hit them.

The only easy way to neutralize the electric field is to use one of these gadgets on them: Batman/Azrael/Batgirl/Nightwing's Batclaw (2nd gadget); Robin/Red Hood's Zip-Kick (2nd gadget); Catwoman's whip (1st gadget). A Batclaw Slam (Batclaw → Directed Strike) can also be performed immediately with the Batclaw.

How do you beat the shield enemies in Arkham Knight?

The easiest way to attack their carriers is to perform a Cape Stun and then perform an Aerial Attack. They can also be taken out with a Special Combo Takedown, and the shield can be destroyed with the Disarm and Destroy move.

What do I do with Azrael in Arkham Knight?

You now have a choice of how this ends as Azrael. Take up the sword and approach Batman. You will have the chance to either attack Batman, or destroy the blade. The choice is yours, and while the end of the quest plays out differently, both options will still end the side quest, counting for Gotham's Most Wanted.
