Belle is alone in a strange town, completely and utterly heartbroken after being both physically and emotionally abused by the man she thought she loved. Struggling to make ends meet, she must find a way to support herself without being affected by the constant, agonizing pain in her body, courtesy of her mate rejecting her to be with someone else. It's because of this constant reminder of what could have been that she is closed off to the world, determined to do things on her own from now on.
Little does she know, her mate, the man who broke her, is searching for her. And he won't stop until he finds her.
Grayson has spent the last few months watching his mate and love of his life get abused by the vampire controlling his body. Finally, he has been set free. However, things aren't as simple as they seem. Now that he's back in control, he has more than a few things to worry about. Becoming a hybrid, half-vampire, half-werewolf, is one thing. Finding out that he is meant to rule over millions as king of all creatures is another. And let's not forget about the war between vampires and werewolves that is about to take place in his backyard.
But none of that matters after he finds out that his mate is nowhere to be found, having escaped him before he got the chance to explain what really happened. She is out in the world, completely unprotected, no idea that she is meant to take the throne alongside Grayson as the new queen of all creatures.

I loved these characters so much and will be one of my favorite books that I have reread like a million times. I will only reread the first

series is complete. (Self note: stopped at chapter 19/61- there’s an incomplete book 2). This book is apparently #1 in “possessive” in Wattpad, and yup, the Alpha werewolf H was totally OTT “mine” about the h, so if you’re into crazy Hs then check this out. The h is a virgin. I didn’t get any immature vibe about the h in the beginning, but I did later on. It’s Wattpad, the author might really be a 14yr old girl after all. Although now it’s taken off Wattpad and Inkitt, and only available on Galatea, I still strongly recommend reading it if it’s possible. Tbh, I can’t find BBAG on Galatea but I’ve read it on Wattpad before most of the chapters is taken down, and I finished the book in 2 days (cuz when I found it, it’s night time) so technically I finished it in a day. Anyways. Spoiler alert: This is a werewolf book, with vampire and humans elements in i This is a really interesting and intriguing book. is a werewolf book, with vampire and humans elements in it. The reactions of Belle was realistic when she was just knew Grayson and grew suspicious about him, and was one of the things I loved. I’m not gonna spoil more, but the emotions and the plot is really well-written. Annie does a great job in joining the whole plot together and none of the parts feel clunky or out of place, the plot threads connect well and the characters are portrayed in an amazing way. I am really looking forward to the sequel (and desperately hopes that I can find the sequel in Galatea, once it’s published). Fingers crossed, please, browser, let me find HLQ, don’t hide it from me like what you did to BBAG. Anyways, give this book a try and I’m 99% sure that if you are sb who read werewolf books, you’ll fall for it. ...more
This is one epic book, worth the read and happy to pay for it. Only complaint is that the author has had to pull the content from the original platform due to contracts and now the sequel isn't available :( wish I could read more of Bell & Grayson's story but understand the position the author is in. Look for their other works, & I'll be crossing my fingers that eventually they get control back of their work. This is one epic book, worth the read and happy to pay for it. I absolutely LOVE this story and have an endless need to read the sequel, His Lost Queen. I only wish I had found it before a certain app platform (not the authors fault, please be kind to her ♡) took away my chance to read it and the wonderful author, Annie Whipple's chance for it to be read. I'm heartbroken that I've been left with this massive cliffhanger and heartbroken for the author as well. I absolutely LOVE this story and have an endless need to read the sequel, His Lost Queen. Really liked it. A for leaving the book in a cliff hanger without any word on book 2 in over 8 months. Book 1 is really good though if you are into the genre.
