Can you get unbreakable charms after banishing?

I agree it is intended behaviour! I used the word "fix" because I was projecting my own viewpoint on the matter - I do feel that it is unfair to punish players like that without warning. And yes, I also dislike the amount of Zote-related content that can be missed - I wonder if TC would have included the "neglect" option if the game had released with the Grey Prince Zote stuff and the Eternal Ordeal (I imagine Eternal Ordeal is still available if you neglect zote, but it is definitely not as interesting if you are missing the context on his character).

By the way, I say all this despite never having been unintentionally locked out of content.

Cant get unbreakable charms after troupe left

I already have the unbreakable heart but still have fragile greed and strength. I banished the troupe but now divine is gone. Is there any other way to get the unbreakable charms? Also, I didnt get to fight NKG before I banished them.

Nope. That's the point of banishing them. You skip out on fighting NKG and getting the highest tier Grimmchild charm, in exchange for that other charm that has a chance to save you from damage.

At least Divine is kind enough to leave whatever charm you gave her without upgrading back in Dirtmouth. I had given her my Fragile Strength in my first playthrough and thought it was smart to see what Banishing did. Thought I was screwed out of the Strength since Leg Eater doesn't offer you a new one when you do that. But revisiting her old tent spot, I found my charm lying on the ground there.

(SPOILERS) About banishing grimm...

So I was a dumbass and banished grimm before i reinforced the last fragile charm, is there any way to do that after banishing him, and if no, can i edit my save file to be the way it was before i made the decision?

Unfortunately not, once you've banished the Troupe there's no way to get Unbreakable Charms. Fortunately, upgrading them doesn't count for any completion.Not sure about the save editing.

Yea but it's the strength one that I forgot to upgrade and I wanted that for bosses and stuff :/ hence the save file editing

Nope, all of the tents, signs and everything still disappear like they would normally

Divines tent only stays if you beat NKG without upgrading all fragile charms. After upgrading all 3, there is still the Legeater until her tent disappears.

As much as I know, banishing the Troupe removes all tents without the upgrades, leaving you with fragile charms.
