      The Competition

Compared to Canon 5D Mark III

      Compared to Nikon D810

      Compared to Canon EOS-1D C

      Compared to Nikon D4S

      Compared to Nikon D5

      Is a 1DX better than a 5D?

However, the EOS-1D X beats the EOS 5D Mark III by having a 100% higher Max ISO ( 51,200 vs 25,600), because of its continuous shooting rate ( 14fps vs 8), the stronger battery life ( 1120 vs 950), and the better low light ISO performance.

Is Canon 5D Mark IV good for photography?

The Canon 5D Mark IV is good for landscape photography. It takes images with a high dynamic range, good color accuracy, and little loss of detail even at high ISO levels, which is great for nighttime shoots.

What Canon camera is better than the 5D Mark IV?

The video resolution is a tad bit better on the 5D Mark IV with 4,096 x 2,160 (DCI 4K) compared to 3,840 x 2,160 (4K) on the EOS R, but the EOS R still takes the cake in that department with a 10-bit output, EVF and 180-degree tilt-screen. Although minor, the EOS R has a slight edge over the 5D Mark IV.

Is Canon 1DX Mark II worth it?

The Canon 1DX Mk II is the fastest, toughest, most versatile, best-built, best thought-out, best-supported and fastest-handling pro camera ever made. Even if you're not a full-time professional photographer and simply a man who deserves the best of everything, the Canon 1DX Mk II is the best there is.
