Cant find a game to play reddit

Hi there.

I'm a bit older and I have a small problem. I was playing world of warcraft from 2007-2016 and stopped than.

I have no friends to play with but my brother was thinking to start on wow classic this evening. One problem is we don't like classic we want to go back on wotlk (the third expansion). So he decided to play on classic, gear and level up and wait until blizzard release our expansion but I'm not 100% sure about his idea.

I haven't found any "big" game since than. Beating Skyrim again, playing some league of legends (have over 3000 games so far) and in another week I play some old games on super nintendo. But several times a year just like in this moment I'm so bored and I don't know which game to play.I don't like survival or horror games, I also haven't touched a single first person / tactical shooter in the last 16 years.

I recently check reddit for games and can find some games from time to time but it's getting harder and harder in the last 4 years. Do you can give me any advice ? Any game advice ?

Edit: After reading all your advice I only can say... You guys are amazing. I will definitely try out your game suggestions many of them are really good. A little side note, we decided not to go back to wow classic. We made this hard decision years back and we haven't regret it since yet.

Now, I have a weak pc, but I can run games up to 2012-2013

My question is, what do I do? I have played literally everything my pc can handle. I have replayed the whole Assassin's Creed franchise up to Unity (several times), I replayed Skyrim for like 18 times (literally), played every singleplayer game imaginable that can run on my pc for at least two or three times.

I'm a big fan of action adventure games but I simply can't find what to play anymore. I'm planning on buying a new pc but I can't do it soon so I'm trapped in an endless loop of Skyrim and Assassin's Creed. Do you have anything to recommend me at least lmao

So I've had a rough 4 ish to 5 years and have had no internet, to internet I can't afford, to my laptop dieing, to console gaming, and finally I'm in a better place financially and purchased a good gaming pc. So the games I use to play were League of Legends, CSGO, and Overwatch. I played those games nearly nonstop. On console I played alot of Apex and Destiny 2. I refuse to pick up Destiny on PC because of the sunsetting fiasco, and I'm not starting over again with apex since there's no cross progression. I tried playing LoL several times but holy fuck ha that community gotten way more toxic since the last time I played. Pverwatch has made some choices with their ranked system I'm not a fan of and I just dont enjoy it anymore.. I've been having a ton of fun with Valorant (replacing csgo) but I don't have any disconnect for it. Like I use to switch games when I started to get frustrated with one of the others, but I cant find any game to do that with. Outriders looks fun but there's no pvp and I've heard the endgame is uninspired. I just dont have the patience to play those survival/minecraft type games. I also tend to get bored with singleplayer games fast. I need something I can obsess over and invest (like doge [TO THE MOON]) into along with Valorant. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TLDR: game suggestions please and thank you. Not Survival/Minecraft clones. I'd prefer for it to have some level of pvp or cooperative.

Cant find a game to play reddit

I just finished god of war on pc I loved it it has a great story and I loved the fights in it and levelling up.

Ive played rdr2 and gta v and I tried horizon zero dawn but I cant get the gamepad to work with it so gave up on that .

I do like 2d games and pixel art and some metroidvanias so im open to any kind of games.

Im looking for something with a good story and addictive gameplay to kill some time.

Thanks in advance

I've always played video games, since I was about 6-8 I'd say I'd played daily, defiantly while in school and uni.

Over the last year or so I've found it difficult to really get into a game, I've picked up a number of games on steam think I was going to play them but just haven't, other time like with the newest tomb raider I played maybe about 30 minutes before taking a break and just not going back to it. Civ 5 I recently pick up started a few games but left them after about an hour.

Looking through the steam sale at the moment nothing is grabbing me, there's nothing that captivates my interest, the only thing I've been playing with any regularity has been dota 2, simple because I know that it takes 30-50 minutes and then it's over, but now I'm getting a little burn out by it.
