New H1B case status- Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS

07-29-2022, 08:16 AM

Hi All,

My company submitted new H1B petition on 28th June. Received submission notice on 14th July. The status changed to “
Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS”.
Has anyone received such status?
is this normal step or status of the processing?
when can I expect the case status change?
Any information regarding the same will b helpful.
Thanks

I am in pretty much exact situation as you are right now. My mother (legal permanent resident) filed for me, unmarried daughter over 21. They received my I-130 on Feb 13, 2020 and on Feb 18, 2022 status changed to Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS.

Even though I know that it is supposed to take a few years for this kind of application, was wondering if there is any time limit on how long an application could be in this status?

Please update here when your application status changes! I will as well.

Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS H1B premium processing

My husband (a PR) filed an I-130 online for me on July 2020. We received NOA a week after.

Nov. 30, our case status was updated to "My Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS". It's also stated inside that "Our records show nothing is outstanding at this time. We will let you know if we need anything from you. "

How long might that review take? I don't want to be checking obsessively throughout the Christmas season.
