Chicago Fire Jay and Gabby episode

Poor Severide trying to call for help and save Nathan but no one comes to their aid. Severide tries to figure out ways to save him without killing him such as breaking a glass to try to get Nathan out. He tries going through Nathan’s backpack to see if his phone is there but it is not working. Severide tries to get him to pinch the artery. While doing so, Severide tries to chase down a passing track for help but it drives away in a fast way. When he comes back, Nathan is off the artery and now it gets even worse: a steel girder traps Severide’s leg.

Meanwhile, Arthur continues to harass Gabby at Molly’s. He thinks that his bodyguard and Jay are on their side. Arthur then tries to burn down the bar and trying to shoot Gabby but Jay ends up hurting the bodyguard and shooting Arthur to save Gabby from this crazy mess. Jay survives the shot by Arthur and he gets arrested thanks to Gabby calling 911. Jay hopes this doesn’t end things with him and her but she doesn’t want to pursue a relationship with him because of him going undercover and she thinks it changes people. I hope to see a Dawson and Casey relationship again in the later episodes this season! Even though she and Jay have a great chemistry together, she and Casey have an even better one together.

I’m really anxious to see how 51 would find out when Benny will take over Boden’s position as Chief. Beth was very irritated I would not be surprised if McLeod sending Benny to try and sabotage 51. We’ll have to wait and see what happens!

What an emotional moment for Griffin after seeing his father’s badge! He gets comforted by Casey. I hope that he gets a father figure for him!

After finding some help, Severide and Nathan see Shay and she drives them to a nearby hospital. It’s revealed that Nathan finally survived the accident. Nathan was so brave for that accident and it’s implied that he thanks him for saving his life.
Severide is such a hero for saving that kid’s life even though it took a while to get help from them. This show is making me more emotional (in a good way) every week especially the scene where Casey took Griffin to 51. The last episode had me on the edge of my seat with Severide trying to save a boy's life and where Gabby almost died before being saved by Jay.
