Directions
Remove wrapping from 1 package (20 oz) Dynasty Chow Funn Noodles. Add noodles to 4 quarts boiling water, cook 2 minutes. Drain well. Rinse with cold water and drain well. Use in soups and stir fry combinations or as noodle base for your favorite recipes. Keep in a cool place. Do not freeze.

What are chow fun noodles called?

The main ingredient of this dish is hor fun noodles, which is also known as shahe fen, originating in the town of Shahe in Guangzhou. It is a wide, flat noodle that is cut into shape (qiefen.) The most common methods of cooking hor fun are in soup or stir fried.

What are the noodles made of in chow mei fun?

Mei fun noodles are thin rice noodles. This recipe uses dried rice noodles that are pre-cooked and then dried in the manufacturing process. All they need is a quick pre-soaking before adding them to soups or stir fries.

Is chow fun the same as chow mein?

Chow fun vs chow mein has a rice-like flavour, while the chow mein tastes closer to pasta. What is this? The flat rice mein taste closer to pounded rice cakes or sticky rice. However, unlike plain cooked rice, the process of refining rice to make chow fun causes it to have a smooth, mild sweetness to them.

What is the difference between Mei Fun and chow fun noodles?

The main difference between chow fun and mei fun is the thickness of the noodles. While both are rice noodles made from rice grain and water, chow fun is a thick flat noodle, and mei fun is thin like vermicelli.
