EDIT: Beta 4 now available! This repository hosts the source and the packaged releases for a working version of SkyUI (and MCM) for SkyrimVR. To get the mod, head on over to the release page and grab the lastest version. All you need is the .7z file. (Ignore the source code download links.) Make sure SKSE VR is installed. (Don't forget the .pex files!) For MO2 users, use the "Install from file" icon in the toolbar. For Vortex users, drop the .7z file over the vortex window. Currently, there are certain limitations to how the UIs in the game can
process inputs from the VR controllers. At the moment, the UI seems to mostly receive up/down/right/left signals from the game. This makes operating a more complex UI like SkyUI a little difficult, but not impossible. Here's what you need to know. In the barter menu or the gift menu, keep hitting "left" until you've reached the first item on the category list (titled "All"). Hit "left" again and the trade direction
should toggle. This applies to any screen where you can see an inventory list. With the first item in the list selected (or nothing selected), hit "up" once to move the sorted column to the next one. Hit "up" twice in quick succession to change the sort direction. For trackpad users, trying using "slow swipe" and "fast swipe" to differentiate between these two actions. The number of controller vibrations indicates how many "up"
events the game has registered. This is a fix for the various keybind issues users have been experiencing with the search feature. To the following key on your controller to activate the keyboard. Once the search box has been activated, OpenVR's keyboard should come up. Just enter the text you're searching for and hit "Done". The button prompt is broken currently. A fix will be coming soon! SkyUI-VR now requires
Skyrim VR Tools to be installed! Have lots of items in your inventory? Search! Don't scroll! To activate the search box: Click it with the
cursor Click the corresponding button in the button prompt Once the search box has been activated, OpenVR's keyboard
should come up. Just enter the text you're searching for and hit "Done". Bug FixBroken(?) MCM Options MenuIn some situations, the MCM Options Menu may show up but refused to accept any inputs other than "close". It turns out to be a minor bug in SKSE that manages Papyrus => Scaleform data transfers. Hopefully, this fixes more things than it breaks. v1.1.0New FeatureNewly picked up items are now highlightedThese items will have a faint yellow background to show that they are new. They should also be sorted to the top in most cases. This should come in handy in the many many "the details are in this note" scenarios. This "new" status of the items should be wiped out the next time the player inventory screen is closed. The status does not carry across game saves or loads. Bug fixes

Bugfixes
v1.0-beta.2Map & Favorites menu version checking removedAs SkyUI-VR doesn't come with the map menu and favorites menu at all, SkyUI had been throwing up large, scary looking, error messages when these screens are visited. These errors have now been removed. WARNING: This is the first time SkyUI-VR comes with modified Papyrus scripts. Although initial testing suggests that everything is working fine, it's still advisable to make a new save or backup before upgrading to this version. Rift iconsThis update brings in Rift icons that have been mistakenly left out. v1.0-beta.1This release contains lots of little visual fixes. Although all the screens seem mostly functional, there are broken/unnecessary button prompts, missing menu animations, etc. A lot of these things have been fixed. Overall, things should feel just a bit more polished and less "alpha". Inventory & Container layout tweakBoth screens had their layout updated so the inventory list is much closer to the item card that displayed any additional information. All the information should now mostly fit into the player's field of view. v1.0-alpha.4: Gift menu now workingThis release adds the gift menu.
v1.0-alpha.3This release adds the magic menu.
v1.0-alpha.2: Crafting menu now workingCrafting menu addedSmithing, enchanting, alchemy all appear to be working correctly issue. Does SkyUI work for Skyrim VR?SkyUI-VR now requires Skyrim VR Tools to be installed!
What mods work with Skyrim VR?Best Skyrim VR Mods 2022. SKSEVR.. SkyUI VR.. HIGGS VR.. Natural Locomotion.. Onyx VR Weathers.. MystiriousDawn's HD Skyrim Overhaul.. Does the Unofficial Skyrim patch work with VR?The creator of Unofficial Skyrim SE patch doesn't want to make it work for Skyrim VR because Bethesda doesn't support mods for the VR verison and because VR hardware is too expensive for him even though he's a programmer (someone please send him your old VR hardware when you upgrade).
