You can adjust the brightness but not that bright for the money - will throw away and use something else

1.0 out of 5 stars Plastic. Not bright enough

It doesn't light me well enough on video in light or dark conditions.
Plastic so pro: it's light but con: questionable durability

1.0 out of 5 stars

<追記>
500円返すから許してくれとメッセージが届いた。そもそも点灯しない不良品なので代替品の発送を要求したが、発送する気はないとはっきり断られた。

1.0 out of 5 stars Product Sold Without Key "Large Cloud" Thread Adapter

Reviewed in the United States on 29 December 2019

I had the same problem as John M. Petersen, the ring light cannot be threaded to anything I own. Everyone says "read the description- you need your own mount," but the real issue is that even if you have your own mount, without an adapter you can't use it.

The instructions for the light say to use a "large cloud mount" underneath the ring light to adapt it to a tripod, and there is a suspiciously-sized hole in the packing foam where I suspect there would normally be this essential adapter. However, as you can see from the description, no mount is included, so it looks like they deliberately removed a normally pre-packaged item, rendering the light useless without additional hardware.

This can only be to trick customers into buying an additional accessory after assuming their standard 1/4" equipment would fit. The threads on the bottom of the mount were also covered in a thin layer of plastic overflow (less than 1mm), making it even harder for me to determine if the threads were wrong or if the manufacturing defect was the cause of the problem. I'll be replacing mine to confirm, but suspect I will end up needing an adapter anyway.

The light is excellent quality, with multiple color temperature and brightness settings as advertised, but having the best light on Amazon is useless if I can't mount it to anything, and at this price point there's no reason I should have to purchase a thread adapter to use what otherwise would have been standard equipment.

1.0 out of 5 stars Can't mount to tripod; threads don't match

Perhaps I received a dud, but the threaded insert on the light mount does not match the threads for my camera tripod. Both are 1/4", but the thread pitch is different; the light mount is 1/4-28 (see second photo; I've confirmed this with a spare 1/4-28 screw I had), while my tripod, and EVERY OTHER TRIPOD I've ever owned has a 1/4-20 male end. I've mounted two different SLR cameras, an LED projector, and my webcam to this tripod mount.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to the hardware store to see if I can find a 1/4-20 to 1/4-28 adapter. If I can't, I'll have to return this light because if I can't mount it, it's useless to me. Either way, 1-star review for being useless out of the box.

3.0 out of 5 stars Works well, but just not bright enough and a bit overpriced

I bought this to help with lighting while in Zoom meetings working from home.

This thing works pretty well, but it just isn't bright enough for my use case. If the room is dark or there's not a huge amount of ambient light coming in from windows or if you're sitting much closer to it, this will probably work well for you. But in my south-facing office, forget it. It just cannot overpower the significant backlighting that results in this situation. I ended up going with the Dazzne 2-pack with the desk clamps (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T593JR5), which works super well.

The switch on the cord is handy, but awkward as you need to be sure to position it just right.

Overall it seems to be a bit overpriced for what you get.

How do I turn off the lights on my Logitech C922?

Easy to turn on and off. Open the Capture Software and head to your settings then open advanced settings. Under the video camera icon, click the Logi Logo box to turn it on and off.

Is the C922 better than the C920?

Both the c920 and the c922 can record in 1080p high definition. In 1080p, both webcams record at the same 30fps rate. The c922 can record at a faster 60fps rate in 720p. However, in our testing, this higher frame rate did not result in a clearer or smoother video.
