Does anyone know if new game plus is or will be a thing in farcry new dawn?

Devs said not to expect any new content, if you google that same question.

I too wish there was a NG+.

Actually there is a kind of new game plus for Far Cry New Dawn already. Google “Far Cry New Dawn new game” and clink on the Support.Ubi link (Ubisoft). It tell you if you start a second game you keep all you prestige items (like weapons) and stuff you purchased with Far Cry credits. So if you get any Elite Weapons only get the prestige weapons. You also keep all your perk points. Pretty close to the New Game plus in Far Cry 5.

By not giving this game a +newgame plus they are killing far cry

Yes all the way! I'd love to run through the story and do teasure hunts and outposts fully geared!! Hopefully it comes sooner than far cry 5's NG+. Within a month at most.

My thought exactly. They eventually put it in FC 5 so why don't they just include it from the start! Doesn't make sense...

I didn't hear anything about it til like a week before it came out. Also resident evil 2 could be added to that list.

Ng+ and arcade mode would be cool.
Fc5 arcade mode had some pretty good maps occasionally

That's not an excuse

Tales of Vesperia was released around the time of Kingdom Hearts 3, a bigger franchise than Metro and Rage put together and still sold well
Also from what i hear Anthem bombed

Hackers win at games but they still lose at life, i used to hate them but then i realized they have to cheat so now i just feel sorry for them.

I wonder if they will include a new game plus in the future. Ubisoft tweeted that currently they dont have plans to do it...hopefully that changes.

If they do, a higher difficulty level should be added with stronger enemies.

When you start a ng after completing the New Dawn main story missions, you'll select your gender and difficulty setting then you get the following message:

"A saved game already exists.
Do you want to overwrite it?
You'll keep Prestige items, Perk points and Materials bought with Far Cry Credits."

Im not sure if this is from a recent update, but it sounds a lot like a ng+ to me.
Unfortunately I didn't proceed further than this in making a ng because it doesn't mention anything in regards to the challenges resetting.
I have all but the co-op expedition and co-op stronghold ones completed, so at this point I'd rather not have to start them again.
If anyone can let me know if they reset it'd be greatly appreciated😀

Not quite, the trick is to read carefully

Prestige items meaning all your other non prestige stuff will be lost
The bigger issue is ALL UPGRADES will be lost so definitely not New Game+

You can have three saved games at a time. Please note that selecting a save slot that is already being used will overwrite the existing file.

Your progress for the main campaign and any downloadable content (DLCs) you own is saved to the same save slot. If you would like to restart the main campaign or the DLCs, you can select a different save slot and begin playing again from the start. You can have three saved games at a time.
