Fifty Shades of Grey.

I stir awake, my eyes blinking rapidly from the lack of light. A slight sting hits my eyes as I focus on my surroundings. I was still on the plane, thousands of feet in the air, thousands of feet from the ground. I shake my head slightly as I try to get my mind to leave it's groggy state from my dream. I yawn, covering my wide mouth with my arm, not wanting my morning breath to give someone a mini faint.

I had no clue where, or how far we were from landing in Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. I wanted the 10 hour trip to end soon, I don't think my body would be able to stand sitting down much longer. My muscles were tensed and cramped from sitting too long. My bottom was starting to go numb from the slightly uneven seat.

"Excuse me," I say to the young brunette flight attendant. She turns on her heels to face me, her light brown hair pulled back into a painful bun, that stretched her skin. She smile widely at me, showing me her white, pristine teeth. Her blue eyes sparkled brightly as she looked at me.

"What can I help you with?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. Her voice was low and soft, with a hint of sweetness.

"How much longer until we land?" I ask, covering my mouth with my fingers. I would die of embarrassment if she got a sniff of my rotting morning breath. It was pet peeve I inherited from my Mother. She would always repeat the same phrase over and over until it was highlighted in my memory book. "A women should never, and I mean never, have morning breath." That phrase still haunts my dreams today.

"We should be landing in an hour. So, make sure to do whatever you need to do before you buckle up. OK?" She says, smiling wide. I've never once met a flight attendant to be so cheery on planes. They were polite yes, but never overwhelmed with happiness. I murmur a thanks before I place my purse on my lap. I dug through the small compartments, looking for a pack of gum or mint of any kind.

I cannot, under any circumstances walk around with morning breath.

Ah ha! I smile widely as I pull out my minty taste 5 Gum packet. I lick my lips, as I open it swiftly and pull one out. Quickly and smoothly, I unwrap it and pop the gum into my mouth. I let out a sigh of relief and satisfaction, leaning back against the seat. I could already feel the mint tingling my taste buds with a fresh scent. I hug the small purse to my chest.

Turning my head to the left, I look out the small oval shaped window, peering at the landscape of Idaho? Montana? I can't be sure. I've only been in the cold state of Washington four times throughout my life. All times I visited were when I was still a child. After the divorce of my parents when I was ten, I never once again set foot in the green state.

That was of course until I decided to change my career path and follow in my Dad's footsteps, much to my Mother's dismay. I will soon graduate under my degree of Merchandising and Business. I will be able to succeed my Dad's Company, Boyer Enterprise Inc.

And thanks to my Dad's wonderful idea, I will be spending my first summer away from Paris, France to be the personal assistant of... Shoot! What was the name of my Dad's partner? Christopher? Chris? I know it starts with a C... I rack my brain, looking for the file I hid in the 'Unwanted' section.

        Christian Grey!

Christian Grey, CEO of Grey Enterprises Holding Inc. He was a loyal partner to my Dad's company. From what my Dad had emailed me about Mr. Grey, I knew very well he had three main topics in his business; Technologies, ECO Manufacturing, and Farming. Unlike my father, who only focused on next generation technologies. My Dad, Richard, had helped Mr. Grey build up his company by loaning him money to start his first small project. Very soon, Mr. Grey was able to turn those few thousand dollars into billions, paying back my Dad twice the amount he owed.

Sighing, I close my eyes, letting out a deep breath to calm down my never ending nerves. I still had trouble walking with my two left feet, how was I going to run a huge company that my Dad had to create with sweat, tears, and blood?

'Don't over think, Em...' I repeat this phrase a couple times, needing a distraction to not let my brain go haywire.

I just hope that my time with Mr. Grey will help me improve in everything I'm inexperienced with.

The doors to the plane open, letting a ghost of fresh air wonder around. I let out a deep breath through my mouth as I unbuckle my belt and stand up. I lean my head to both shoulders, hearing the bones crack. I rolled my shoulders as I looked around. Everyone on board was hurrying out, getting their stuff in such a fuss making people bump into one another.

Rolling my eyes, I sat back down and waited. I was not going to go into the jungle of people and be thrown around. I looked at my finger nails. I grimaced, noticing the cracked nails and small dots of dirt underneath them. I need a manicure A.S.A.P. Glancing up once again, the crowded plane is slowly decreasing in people. I smile and stand up, grab my handbag firmly, and walk toward the aisle. I reach my arms out for my  white Gucci purse, a must-take-gift from my Mother.

I place it over my shoulder and begin to make my way toward the exit. Dark, immaculate light blinds my eyes for a second before they focus. I looked around; the sky was filled with grey clouds, a hard wind was blowing south. I felt the shiver of the cold weather travel down my spine. I bite my bottom lip, glancing around. Sea-Tac Airport is like any other airport; scattered planes around, the large building a couple meters away from Delta F-20 Pairs Plane. Squinting, I notice large green trees in one large rectangle west from where the plane stood.

"Are you going to walk down or do I have to push you?" Says an angry deep voice behind me, making my jump in surprise.

A blush creeps from my neck toward my face. I mumble a quick apology before carefully walking down the flight of stairs attached to the opening doors, keeping a hard grip on the rail to keep myself from falling flat on my face.

Once I'm at the bottom, I make sure to keep a good distance from the rest of the passengers and stare blankly at the airport.

Letting out a sigh, I make my way toward the glass doors, my heart in my throat as I make my way toward them. My life is about to take a drastic turn once I walk through those double doors. I just hoped that around the corner, something good would await me.

        Au revoir, Paris.
