What is the difference between a f150 XL and XLT?

The XL is the more budget-friendly option, while the XLT has extra features that add up to a higher price point. Take a look: F-150 XL Price: $28,940 MSRP. F-150 XLT Price: $35,050 MSRP.

Is XL or XLT better?

Both of these cars have almost the same basic specs, but the major difference is price and extras. If you want an affordable 2021 Ford F-150, then you can choose the XL model, and it comes in around $29,000. But you can get some extra features in the XLT model that sits above $35,000, including the applicable tax.

Is Lariat worth it over XLT?

However, the Lariat definitely levels up the luxury. The Lariat comes standard with 18-inch wheels, a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, and dual-zone automatic climate control, which the standard XLT either lacks or offers at an up-charge. The F-150 Lariat's interior also surpasses the XLT's in luxuriousness.

What does XL and XLT mean?

The XLT is a trim level in the Ford truck line and means "Extra Luxurious Truck." However, you will find that the XLT trim package comes second to the base trim XL in the Ford truck line. The term XLT dates back to 1970 when the Ford Ranger's top trim package was the XLT.
