Garnier Fructis Watermelon Scented Shampoo Soap and Cream 3-in-1 Conditioner - True honest October 2022 review by an Aussie guy too embarrassed to tell his mates about it. The smell of this soap is divine. It's also true what it says on the box, one soap bar will last as long as 2 bottles of shampoo. In my opinion it will last longer because once you wet your hair in the shower, you only have to move the soap over your hair a couple of times and it lathers up very thick and frothy. It might last me at least a year or more! Very little goes a long way. It cleans my hair really well and I finish it off with the matching tub of 3-in-1 Watermelon scented creme Conditioner, which also smells great. Just the same as the soap, you only need a small amount of the conditioning cream and it works into your hair well and afterleaving it in for a minuteI can tell my hair feels fine and silky smooth whilst washing it out. I reckon it will last me over a year too! My fine hair dries soft and light, not oily, and I can smell my own hair all day. I thoroughly recommend both products as a set.

The Garnier hair food products smell too strongly. I can only use the papaya one. I have tried this macadamia one, and the banana one - And while they all work well, the smell is horrifically strong - a very strong Bergamot type smell that literally gives me asthma. I do have perfume allergies - So unfortunately cannot use any of Garniers products - except for the Papaya hair food. I don’t know why companies feel they have to soak their products in stinky stuff. Just give us scent free products… If we want it to smell we can add essential oils to it ourselves. Or at least consider having a scent free product line. Products smell so badly today - there’s just no getting away from it - not only do they interfere with the functioning of our olfactory sense - they can, and do cause asthma related issues. Its absolutely perturbing to me how much perfume people feel they need. Personally, as a woman, there is nothing nicer than the natural scent of a man and the natural environment. Try going scent free for a while and you will be amazed. Sorry for the rant - it’s just so difficult to find products, good products, that don’t have perfume. And I’m tired of wasting my money.

Style Name: Nourishing Banana for Dry HairVerified Purchase

One of the best scented hair products out there if you like banana scented products. My teen daughter uses this on her long hair and it’s great for her dry ends. She also uses it as a frizz tamer without washing the product off by applying a tiny amount and running her hands over the surface of her hair. It was half the price here on Amazon as compared to where we usually purchase.

It's got a nice subtle smell, it's quite a thick mixture, you don't need much. I do find if I don't rince it all out properly then it can leave my hair quite greasy, so I tend to avoid using it as a leave in conditioner. Doesn't really help with frizzyness.

Made in Germany. It works well, like any good conditioner should but the fragrance is a little too strong. In trying to sell itself as a natural product, parfum should not be one of its ingredients. Maybe mildly scented with essential oils would be a better option. I like it in a tub as I don't waste any, unlike those that come in a dispenser.

How to use: 1. Can apply like gel and leave it . No need to wash. 2. After wash on wet flowing hair, you can apply like conditioner and wait 5-10 min and then wash. 3. Before taking head bath, apply on flowing hair and then hair wash.
Result: I loved this conditioner type and smell is very gentle. After wash, i got shinning and frizz free hair.
My Opinion: i recommend to all types of hair for everyone. So you can call it as "Hair food".

I have short, thin, and wavy hair. It was my first time using it. What I liked best about it was how natural it was. It left my hair smooth, shiny, and beautiful. I was not expecting such a dramatic change in my hair. Given the low price, I assumed this would be a little container of hair mask that would last for 4-5 applications. When I got it, I was pleasantly surprised. It's a big container of hair mask that will undoubtedly last me a long time. When I say that I observed effects on the first day of use, I am not misinterpreting. As stated on the packaging, it can be applied as a conditioner, mask, or leave-in. My hair appears more glossy, silky, and tangle-free only after two applications. My hair's dryness has been controlled. A genuine superfood that strengthens and smoothes hair. At first I thought this would be a small bottle of hair mask that'll go for 4-5 times of use given the budget friendly price it came in. I was happily mistaken when I received it. It is a decently big tub of hair mask that will last me a looooong time for sure. I am not exaggerating when I say that I saw results within the first day of usage. Like it said on the pack it can be used as a conditioner, mask or leave in. I have a pretty oily scalp so I avoid cream based leave ins however as a mask this performed amazingly well. I did keep it for longer than prescribed by applying on wet hair and then followed it with shampoo after 15 minutes. My hair was full of life and shine for 2 whole days. I could've gone without shampooing the next day had it not been due to the sweaty weather.
Having said that, while the product claims to be 98% naturally originated, it does have a very very strong scent. One that lingers on till the next wash which may irritate some people. I for one am not a fan of fruity fragrances and that too such strong ones. I was literally smelling of papayas for 2 straight days! A walking fruit salad! LOL! Also I do wish they had more options for people with varied hair types like curly hair, smoothening, oily scalp, dandruff, colored hair, etc. Most of their products are only for dry hair.

All in all, I believe this is an excellent investment for those with a fast paced life with little or no time for pamper sessions and spas on a daily basis. Once a week of this Hair mask and your hair will feel rejuvenated!
