Didn't like ghost of tsushima. Didn't like the open world at all. Its almost like a Ubisoft open world, with no variations to the camp and similar stealth mechanics, lots of collectibles and almost no story/plot points related to the exploration. All the sidequests were pretty generic fetch quests. The exploration is also very badly implemented as you find almost nothing if you actually explore the world (its just some foxes leading you to some cosmetics which gets boring real quick). It shouldn't have been open world imo. Because the main story line is good, even though the mongols are protrayed as pretty generic black and white characters. Show Also Elden ring is one of the most easiest soulsborne games. In earlier games, there wasn't any exploration, here you can explore a lot, get stronge pretty quickly. And the exploration is well implemented. So many useful items hidden around the corner. The story and characters are actually good and understandable, even though the exploration doesn't tie into the story. Like very side quests, if you actually explore. But these cool items make up for it imo. I'd say elden ring if you like challenging yourself. You're browsing the GameFAQs Message Boards as a guest. What game is better Ghost of Tsushima or Elden Ring?Ghost of Tsushima is much easier than Elden Ring, and it has a much more comprehensible narrative. But this open-world samurai adventure still has a lot of elements that made Elden Ring work. Ghost of Tsushima features tight, technical sword combat, a large, interesting world and distinctive, varied side quests.
Will I like Elden Ring if I like Ghost of Tsushima?18 Elden Ring
Those that enjoyed the open-world explorative feeling of Ghost of Tsushima should check out From Software's latest release, Elden Ring. Although the difficulty takes some getting used to (unless players are already hardened from Sekiro), the world is incredibly expansive and beautifully designed.
Which is better Ghost of Tsushima or Sekiro?Ghost of Tsushima is the better fit for most people looking for a fun samurai game and a way to relax after work. It's not wholly original, but it's polished and fun. I still prefer Sekiro for its thrill and unique design. If you want a challenging game that pushes sword fighting to the extreme, Sekiro is better.
Is Elden Ring a difficult game? We've seen plenty of glowing praise for the latest FromSoftware game, including in our Elden Ring review. It's pretty safe to say that Elden Ring is a tough game. Frequent ambushes and enemies that can kill you with a single hit can make the first few hours very difficult.
